"Jerrekk! Jerrekk! Please, come now!" Magahre Brenne folded her arms in apparent insistence. Her dark curls swished this way and that as she scanned from right to left the tree-bordered meadow. Often, with others, Magahre Brenne used her commanding intonations without any 'please'. It was an order, laced with unyielding, expectant obedience. With me she inserted the 'please' but the vibrations carried the same crimson demand to yield to her will.
I withheld instant response, just sufficient to prove that I was not a pet to command, one to kneel at her command. I would move when I wanted, and I would move on the offensive. Or, at least I wanted to believe that I stood my stance and moved to my own tune. But I did move, because I wanted Magahre to know that I considered her special.
"Magahre, I'm here already! So, are we together on this? Are we joining with the others?" Mag gives me that "Yeah, whatever" look and laces her fingers with mine. We think our destination, and we are there seated among our brothers and sisters in our learning center. Geofrig is on my immediate left, as always. He's always assembled before we, to legitimize his immediate departure at the end, I think.
"So, Jerrekk, what do you imagine Didaskalos will lecture us this time? I hope it's more interesting than the last dozen! Seems like we're always instructed in the finer points of being obedient. Sometimes..." Didaskalos's illumination on stage interrupts Hygerof. Out of training and habit an immediate hush envelopes the assembly."Welcome again my companions! Father and Mother send their deepest love. They welcome your visits. Always. You don't need a special invitation.
"Our subject today is one of great import. It is intricately interlaced with our last few discussion of obedience." Hygerof groans and slumps lower in his seat. Poor Hygerof! He is so anxious to move on. Strong-minded and impassioned he is. To hear once is to know. To hear twice is purely repetitious.
"Think of your existence as dadoni, or intelligences. You roamed the universe freely. You searched for meaning where and however you wished. You chose your path. Consequences followed upon the heels of those choices. Forces influenced your thoughts. All of us present here, when we came into the light of our Heavenly Parents, chose to be born of them. Not one of us was forced to accept their invitation. We were given an awareness of what that attachment offered...the hope, the potential for our individual growth. Think about that experience. What do you see?"
I shift in my awareness. I see, a great gathering of light particles, emanating from Father and Mother, surging cosmic waves of awareness -- what had been and what could be. Their voices were, to Mag and me, sweet and melodious, a resonating vibration that made my being warm and joyful. As Mag and I later discussed, it was the Song of Uniting. We vibrated passionately with those two feelings. Warm and joy pulsed as we had never before experienced. We belonged! We wanted to belong! We chose.
As awareness vibrated around and through us, many particles of light flashed away in agitation, in groups and in pairs and then one by one. The others that remained glowed more brightly. Mag and I pulsed with a great energy of acceptance. Others expanded moderately, voicing desire to advance, but as they continued to voice their feelings with others, they were distracted and chose to align elsewhere. Again, with greater awareness, multitudes slowly drifted and disconnected from the assembly until only Mag and I remained, and Hygerof.
Magahre, Hygerof and I joined, and at our joining a great host of incorporated spirits arose in a rejoicing chorus. We three were elated and simultaneously humbled that we had been offered all that the Advanced Ones were, and we had been called to potentially create all that They had and would forever create -- worlds and kingdoms without end! In a great noise of celebration, we in unison sang, and my being has never been the same. I don't think Mag and Hygerof have ever been the same.
We have, since our birth as spirits, witnessed similar gatherings. Concourses of Intelligences are invited to our family. Always, for eternity, Mother and Father invite. Not ever is coercion applied. The promise of hope we see clearly. Here at home with Mother and Father, our hope increases. Knowledge floods our beings, and with that knowledge we give substance to our hope. With that knowledge we plan and train and learn the partnership of unity.
With a start II return from my memory as it had been on my joining. Hygerof smiles a brilliancy of comprehension. Magahre basks in waves of certainty. We three are in union. Neither the worlds nor the souls of mankind be created from violence and compulsion. Life is born by accepting the invitation to change, and each individual is endowed with power to change by accepting life. We blossom in choice. The very dust of the cosmos glories in its right to choose.
"Now that was worth the assembly!" crows Hygerof. "It all makes sense! Agency cements all the pieces of the puzzle of life! Jerrekk, lets enroll now. Not another moment wasted in our own discussion and debate! We have to go immediately and prepare ourselves to move on!" Hygerof punctuates each statement almost with a shout, he's so excited.
Mag and I share an amused and happy private thought. Mag and I were prepared after the first fewe assemblies to enroll and held back only in hope that Hygerof would soon want to accelerate. Hygerof has become such an important part of our journey. We just could not move on without him. Our Joy knows no bounds!
Holding hands in a tight ring formation we unite our thoughts and energies and focus our light on enrollment into the ranks of the committed.
