Christaya POV
I can not believe it. Angel Anderson, the rich kid, gave me a poem. To be specific a love poem. I was just wowed. Wow. Wow. Wow. I showed my sisters and they said it was a sign. A sign of what? A sign? I think of love. The thing is I like him but I think things are moving too fast. I'm just going to wait. At least until Start Day. That's the day when our society chooses your mate. It is kind of sad how life has changed so bad now it really is. Sometimes I want to be president or part of the powerful lawmakers just so I could try and make them chose people who actually want to be together not are forced to be together. But hey i'm just one of the millions of people on earth. No one special to them. At least as far as I know. People if I have any advice it's to quit being shy and make a difference. It's my advice because I know I won't do anything.
