EPISODE 17: LEARNING ABOUT FAMILY

Melody and Lucifer share their family's history with the new members of the family

Sorry this is another filler chapter I just want to finish this part of the story and the first season of the Originals so I can focus a little bit more on Lucifer.

Grace, Hayley and Davina are spending the day with Chris, Melody and Lucifer and they learn more about their family history and what kind of powers that could develop with all three of them being half Angel and Hayley's baby being a quarter Angel.

Melody's house

Melody Chris and Lucifer are sat in the living room just talking when Hayley Grace and Davina walk into the room

Melody: Hi

Hayley sits down on the one side and Grace on the other

Hayley: There is something we wanted to talk to you about, we were wondering if you could tell about our family?

Melody: What would you like to know?

Hayley: How many siblings do you actually have?

Melody: We have 6 brothers and 2 sisters

Grace: We know one was part of the reason you gave us up but what are their names?

Lucifer: Our Sisters are Azrael and Remiel

Melody: Our brothers are Amenadiel, Michael Gabriel, Raphael Uriel and Castiel. Michael is actually Lucifer's identical twin.

Grace turns to Chris

Grace: Dad do you have any siblings?

Chris: I don't I'm an only child my mother died a few years after I was born, and my Dad was killed by Marcel a couple of years ago

Hayley: I am sorry about that

Grace: Are either of you close with any of them?

Melody: I have always been close to Gabriel and Remy

Lucifer: I have to the same about Gabriel and I guess I would say Castiel

Melody: Gabriel was there with Lucifer when your Father and I got married he actually married us, and Lucifer gave me away.

Grace: What about your parents?

Melody: Well you know who our father is, and our mother was banished to hell. Have either of you ever read the bible or been to church?

Hayley: when we were younger yes to both and we know what Uncle Lucifer did but why is our grandmother in hell?

Lucifer: Dad cast me out and sent her to hell and that is where she has been since then, I have never spoken to her or even gone to see her because after my failure I asked to help me and she did nothing while Dad cast me out so that is what I did for her nothing and you all know that I did not create hell I just use to work there right?

Davina: Yes, Dad we know

Grace: Uncle Can I ask you a question?

Lucifer: Of course

Grace: Was your name really Samael?

Lucifer: Yes, it was a long, long time ago

Hayley: do you think that any of us will develop powers or maybe even wings?

Melody: I don't know the answer to that but I think because of you werewolf side you may develop powers but not wings nor will the baby and I think the same will apply to Davina powers maybe but we won't know till you develop them

Grace: What is your power Mom?

Melody: I am the Angel of healing and animals so I can heal any injury, talk to animals and I have some telekinetic powers too.

Hayley: I would love to get that power

Melody: Maybe you both, or one will get the power to heal and maybe even the baby could have both and no I don't believe the baby will have wings okay so don't worry about that

Hayley: It is nice to know that I won't be giving birth to a baby with wings

Melody laughs

Grace: Do you think that we will ever meet our Grandparents?

Melody: I honestly have no idea I hope so but I do know if and when you want to meet your Uncle Gabriel I will call him for you and I am sure that your Aunt Remy will want to meet all of you.

Hayley: That is nice to know, the fact that have more family out there and one day we can meet them and the fact that this baby is going to surrounded by family and people that will love her

Melody: Well one day you will have more I mean when I can finally tell my best friend and roommate who I really am and hopefully she will be okay with it and then I can tell you about you guys and I know that she will love all of you.

Grace: Is that the LAPD Detective that you work with Uncle Lucifer?

Lucifer: Yes, her name is Chloe Decker and I have not been working with her very long

Melody: I have lived her for years and I can tell you that she a wonderful woman and I am godmother to her daughter Trixie, and I know that Trixie would love you three.

Grace: I can't wait to meet her, but is there a way for us to meet them even though she doesn't know the truth yet?

Melody: Well I guess we could say that you are our sisters and Davina could be our cousin. When you have the baby, we can take a family trip together and we can introduce all of you to her and Trixie sound good

Grace: I love the idea of a family trip it will be our first

Lucifer: But not our last dear Niece, we will have many and I am sure of it

Hayley: I hope so too and when was the baby is born, we go on a lot of family trips all of us including the Mikaelsons

Chris: That does sound awesome

Melody wraps her arms around both Hayley and Grace, and they share a warm hug with both of her daughters
