Your POV

I walked cautiously into the plane where I was greeted by the sweet flight attendant. I quickly found my seat and sat down, making myself situated and comfortable. I looked out the window to see people working and other planes taking off and landing. Even though London was great the thought of my plane landing made a smile appear on my face. I couldn't wait until I see Jack again, to hold him again, to smell his favorite cologne. I felt a presence next to me sit down. I turned and faced an elderly woman with a bright pink sun hat. She had that signature grandma scent that all grandmas seem to have. I gave her a friendly smile and she returned it with a shocked expression.

"You're that famous model my grandson is obsessed with! Oh! He's just loves you so much! He has a poster of you in his room! Oh, he's going to be so excited when I tell him! I'm sorry I don't remember your name even though he's told me a million times." She rambles quite adorably. Everything she said was true. I was a the youngest Vogue model in the agency. She was joined by another elderly man who I assume was her husband.

"Hi, I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you." I said smiling even more.

"I'm Imogen and this is my husband Bill. Do you mind if we get a picture with you?" She asks.

"Oh, of coarse not!" I said.

We took the picture and continued talking as the plane took of into the bright blue sky. She told me all about the vacation they just had in London and I told her all about the photo shoot I had. They were on a quest to see all the places they can and their next stop was Los Angeles. It made my heart melt at how in love they were and it made me excited to grow old with Jack. I knew he was the one.

"So what awaits you in Los Angeles." Bill asks me.

"My boyfriend, Jack Johnson." I answered.

"Boyfriend? How cute! How did you guys meet, Dear?"

"Well, I actually met him and our other friend, Jack, in Kindergarten." A slight smile spread across my face. I can remember the day like it was yesterday. She looked at me in amazement. Probably shocked at how long we've known each other. "We started dating in freshman year, and when my career started to take off so I had to move to LA from Omaha for senior year. So we had to do the long distance thing, which was hard at first but we made it work. Now we all live together."

"Wow, you two must have been through a lot together. I wish you two the best." She said. You could tell she genuinely meant it which made me smile for what seems to be the millionth time today.

My phone made a 'ding' sound. I checked my phone to see a Twitter notification from Jack.

@jackjackjohnson: A whole month away from this beauty was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Can't wait to see my baby 😘❤️❤️ @Y/T/N

I clicked on the tweet to see he posted the picture of me and him that we took back I high school with it (attached picture). Memories started to flood back into my mind. Moments had passed before I had realized my eyes had began to tear up at the thought of finally seeing him after all of these weeks.

"Y/N," I heard someone's soft voice say. "We're landing, Dear." I opened my eyes to see Imogen. Her words were all it took to get me wide awake and even a little giddy inside. I was finally going to see Jack again. The plane landed and the people began to file out. Since I was in first class I got to go out first. I grabbed my bag, thanked the flight attendant and walked off the plane into the waiting are where Jack should have been waiting. With every step I took I heard the pounding of my heart get louder.
