Opportunity for Austin??

(Austin, Gretel, and Logan are already 18 years old.)

3 weeks after Gretel and Logan became girlfriend and boyfriend, Logan decided to go to London for a vacation. Gretel said to Logan,"Promise me to write letters. And don't forget all about me. Do not find a new girlfriend when you go to London. I'll be waiting for you to come back."

8 weeks has passed but Logan hasn't come back yet. Worried as Gretel may be, she decided to watch the news. She saw that Logan got a British teen girl, named Taylor, pregnant. Also, Logan and Taylor are going to marry in 3 years, when they become legal.

To hear this horrible news is unbearable, Gretel immediately turned the television off.

She decided to go to the pool side and cry there because she thought, in this way, no one would see her cry.

Austin decided to go to her home to comfort her  since he already heard the news. Before Austin went to Gretel's house, he stopped by the market to buy some flowers for Gretel.

When Austin arrived the house, he saw Gretel's mother. In courtesy, he greeted the mother. Gretel's mother told Austin to talk to Gretel 'cause she won't talk to anybody for the past four hours. "Ok, I'll try to talk to her. I think I know the reason why she's so sad." "Thanks. By the way she's by the pool." "Oh ok thanks."

When Austin arrived by the pool, Gretel ran to him crying and hugged him. When Gretel hugged Austin, Austin blushed a little. Austin tried to comfort her by rubbing her back gently. He gave her advice to forget about Logan and that she has a better life and at least she's with her loved ones. Then Gretel said that Austin was the best friend she ever had. After she said that to him, she kissed him. Then Austin gave her the flowers that he bought. Gretel commented, "You're so sweet." Austin said," Speaking of sweet, do you like to get some ice cream? I have a coupon in Ben and Jerry's." Gretel said,"Sure I love ice cream. Thanks." Then 3 words slipped out of her mouth "I love you". Austin's eyes got wider. Austin had a smile on his face. "Oh really I love you too. Do you want to become my girlfriend?" Gretel replied," Sure! :-)"
