To My Lovely Journal,
Today Steve told me about his latest attempt at joining the military. He has found yet another alias to use in a different city. I would think after so many failed attempts he would stop trying. Alas, here we are once again. This just means I'll be sitting here waiting for him to come home, seemingly broken-hearted for what seems like the millionth time. I'll be waiting to console him and his shattered dreams once again.
I will never be able to truly understand why he's so desperate to join the war by going overseas. There are so many opportunities here at home. I mean, hell I wish I could go with Bucky to fight but I can't. And I will never understand how Steve can keep trying time and time again after the countless times he's been rejected.
Well, I guess it's about time to wrap this up. Steve should be back soon.
