It was a Friday night, the perfect time to go to a party. But Noya did not go to a party. Instead, he sat near a river by himself, alone with his thoughts. Sometimes he just needed to spend some time alone, not because he was in a bad mood or anything remotely close to that, but because he felt like it. It was a nice evening for a walk by the river, but he was sore from earlier practice, so he sat on a bench to rest. He hummed a little bit, enjoying the athmosphere. Soon, he felt someone's presence near him, so he looked to the side. He saw a tall man walking down the path next to the river, not realizing immediately who it was. After a few seconds, his eyes lit up, it was Asahi!

Noya immediately waved to the man near him and yelled, „Asahi-san! Hello!" The tall man was wearing a black hoodie and a pair of sweatpants, and his hair was, surprisingly, down. It suited him really well, and Noya was sure he'd convince him to let his hair down more often.

Asahi smiled when he noticed the younger man, walking up to him. „Hi, Noya-kun! Is it alright if I join you?" He asked, to which Noya didn't respond, he just moved to the side a little, making space for Asahi. „So, what are you doing here?" Nishinoya asked, looking at the man next to him. Something about him made him look...especially nice today, and Noya had no idea what it was.

„Well, believe it or not, I have two weeks off from school. And I finished every test I had for this period. So I don't have to study anything, for now... It's a great chance for me to relax, but, I have no idea what to do. I'm just so used to all nighters and constant studying that I forgot how it was to have free time, especially two full weeks." Asahi said, and Noya thought about it for a second. He also had a week off, it was like a mini vacation. After a few seconds, Noya nodded. „Ah, I get it. I mean, I don't have that problem, mostly because I never study, but I have no idea what to do either now that I have a bit of free time! Some of my friends went to see their family, but my family lives half an hour from here, so I can see them whenever. I really don't have any plans. So we are on the same page." Nishinoya grinned.

Maybe it was a chance for them to get closer, Noya thought, but he didn't want to come off as...weird, or anything. Though he was going to try and ask him to hang out. „Well, it's nice to know I'm not the only one who feels that way." His lips curled into a small smile, and it made him look really cute. God, why was Noya thinking that Asahi was cute?! „Well, I'm going to help you! Asahi-san, we should do something together." Noya said with a grin on his face, but deep inside hoping it wouldn't come off as weird, or flirty. Thankfully for Noya, Asahi said yes and actually wanted to spend time with him.

„Amazing! Maybe you could join our volleyball practice some time? The only days we don't have practice are Monday and Tuesday. So any day after that, you can join us." Noya asked, probably sounding a bit desparate, but the biggest bonding experience was playing volleyball with somebody!

Asahi looked at him a bit shyly, looking sort of embarrassed. „Well... I guess I could? But I'm really not that good. I had to stop training because I started studying medicine, and it took up most of my time. So... I just play rarely when I find people to play with." He said, and Noya almost jumped from excitement. He was genuinely happy. „Amazing! Is it a deal, Asahi-san?" And Asahi nodded to that.

Now, Noya wished to ask him to do something other than volleyball together. But that would totally sound like flirting, so he had to think of what to say. He also thought it would be pretty creepy to make two plans with the same person in such a short period of time... But Asahi cut him off in his thoughts. „Well, I never asked you, what were you doing here?" „Well, I was tired, and I like this place. It's pretty calm, and I didn't really feel like sitting in my dorm with Tanaka and doing nothing." He explained, looking over at Asahi. He was gazing at the sky, and it was surprisingly full of stars. It looked pretty, and Noya felt like they were sharing a pretty intimate moment together by just... looking at the stars. „I like being here, it's pretty calming, especially when I'm stressed." Asahi said. They spend a bit of time in a comfortable silence which Noya usually didn't enjoy because he liked to just ramble, but this time it felt just right.
