I've never expected to cry with this anime, but when Ace died I did. 😳
There are only few shounen that really impressed me for the content and the presence of depth. And one of those is especially Naruto. It particulary got my attention when it first came out and it surprised me the more I watched it through, cause it was the first time I saw a male character exposed in an introspective manner. That was so refreshing. The way it's so open discussing human vurnerability, and in male perspective. Also, the fact that it makes you reflect and learn something from it too, from time to time, made it worthwhile watching.
