TW: Implied child death/
drowning

The water surrounded me, made me feel like I was weightless, it also made me feel like I couldn't breathe. I didn't fight it, thrashing around desperately wasting my energy trying to get the tiniest bit of air, I didn't do that. I just sort of just sat there trying to enjoy the feeling of the warm water surrounding my body, almost lulling me to sleep as it slowly kills me. I don't know how I've stayed alive this long. If it has been that long, I've lost count of the second, minutes, or maybe even hours, that last one a little bit of a stretch but-. Huh, a shadow came over me, the figure slowly started getting closer. I couldn't make out who or what the figure was, only now realizing how blurry my vision was. Whoever or whatever it was put an arm under mine and slowly started to pull me up towards what I can only assume to be the surface. Air flooded my lung as I took a gulp of air, what I could now make out as a young male continued to drag me back to the beach where my mother stood with one of the biggest smiles rested on her face and tears streaming down it but, she seemed so doll like her skin to having her usual fine line that come with age, this is not my mom.
