Story

Pietro POV

My name is Pietro Maximoff and my whole life has been a maze of madness. Wanda, my twin sister, and I have been through many things.

First off our home was blown up by a bombshell and it killed both of our parents. We lived in Sokovia and we were ten at the time. This event was heartbreaking and life changing for the both of us.

We were then taken into foster homes and child services tried splitting us apart. That was a mistake, Wanda had used her powers out of rage and sadness at the thought of being away from me and attacked social services.

The humans then sold us to MEDUSA out of fear of mutants.

Medusa is branch of HYDRA that mainly experiments on anything out of the ordinary and uses anything from the non-ordinary's to make weapons or sell it to HYDRA for new types of super-soldier serum prototypes.

MEDUSA has been experimenting on Wanda and I for the past 8 years.

They tried to take our mutations out of us during the experiments and they wanted to do so because our powers would be useful for human weapons. Wanda's powers can cause mass destruction and my speed would be useful to get a quick getaway in a crisis.

We were experimented on and they tortured us to see how the mutation reacted and worked in our bodies.

Wanda and I both comforted each other after each torcher session or experimentation.

Wanda would use her powers to heal any cuts or other injuries on her and I.

We slept in the same cell and always huddled close together, always to show each other that we'd always be together and to create warmth during cold nights.

-Present Time-

Pietro POV

I am sitting in Wanda and I's cell and I am hearing Wandas blood curdling screams.

I let tears fall silently down my face and feeling my heart break, hearing her pain.

We are now 18 years old and have been here at MEDUSA for 8 years. They still have not found a way to use or manipulate our mutations.

I hear the cell door open and I stand up. Wanda is thrown in. I run over to her picking her up carefully and bringing her to our bed.

Well I wouldn't call it a bed. It's more of a slab of concert chained to the wall.

I hug Wanda and kiss the top of her head. She is sobbing quietly and I am trying my best to comfort her.

About 20 minutes later she is calmed down and starts healing herself.

After a while we rest by leaning on each other. I have been planning an escape now and want to wait a little longer to tell Wanda it, but I decided I was going to tell her after the guard of our cell falls asleep which normally is in about 3 hours.

I have became more observant of the MEDUSA labs, the scientists and guards daily routines. You kind of pick it up from being here for 8 years.

I have noticed that about 3 hours after one of us is either experimented or tortured the guard of our cell falls asleep.

A few other things I noticed was that the door of the cell had a mutation invention that dampens our mutations. It activates if Wanda or I are within 3 feet of the door. Also that there is a security room with cameras and maps about 1 hall down from our cell.

After the guard falls asleep I shake Wanda awake.

"Wanda, wake up." I whispered. She blinks awake and looks at me, "You okay Piet?"
