•••Nagito's POV•••

"Hello everyone! Tonight we will be holding a celebration for the hard work we've all accomplished this season. So, meet up at the Future Bar at 7 PM. Hope to see you all there!"

The announcement ended. A party, eh? Well, I have felt pretty stressed out lately. It wouldn't be so bad to have a couple of drinks. Let's see...
I looked at my watch, that's in an hour! What should I wear? I wonder if Hajime is going? He probably will, but I'm sure he doesn't want to.
I opened up my closet to look at my selection. Hmm... Maybe I should shower first. I walked to my bathroom and got undressed. I put my hands on the sink counter and looked at myself in the mirror. I wonder if Makoto will be there... Idiot. Of course he will be.

***Time skip***

I opened the double doors and found a seat in a far off corner. Not everyone has showed up yet. Makoto is already here though. He is conversing with a large group of people. I sighed and put my chin in my hand. That's when a female walked up to me.

"Hello sir, would you like any drinks?"

"Sure, I'll have a margarita."

"Is that all?"

"Yeah, for now. Thanks."

She walked away. I looked back down at the table. My hands were holding each other. "Here you go!", the girl was standing next to me. I was surprised at how fast she was.

"Th-thanks..."

"I'll come by a bit later in case you want another drink. Enjoy!", she walked towards a table near the bathrooms. I sighed and drank my drink. It's not my favorite, but I still like it.

"Hey, Nagito!" I jumped in my chair. I looked behind me to see that it was Hajime.

"Hajime, can you not sneak up on me like that?"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you", he sat down across from me. "So, what have you been up to?"

"Nothing really. I just got here a few minutes ago."

"Oh, really? I just came in a few seconds ago. I saw you and you looked kind of lonely. So, I decided to say hi." Ah, so he only came to say hi? Damn. I must be unlucky tonight.

"Hey, Hinata!" We both looked up. The voice we heard was from none other than Makoto Naegi. I silently gasped.

"Hello, Naegi! What's up?"

"I have a few things to discuss with you."

"Oh... Do you want to talk somewhere else?"

"No, here is fine. It's not confidential", then he looked at me. "Is it alright if I sit with you, Komaeda?" I felt nervous.

"M-me? I-I'm not worthy of sitting with someone as great as you." Makoto scratched his cheek.

"Nonsense. I appreciate your consideration, but it's not that big of a deal."

"Not that big of a deal?", my eyes went wide. Does he not know how amazing he is?

"Nagito", Hajime kicked me from under the table but kept a soft expression, "seriously. Don't worry about it. Besides, it's more fun when we are all together as friends." Makoto smiled at Hajime and nodded happily.

"O-okay. Sorry for my rudeness." Makoto sat down in the chair in between us.

"I forgive you, Komaeda. Don't be so hard on yourself." I was about to retort, but tried to keep my cool. Everything's okay... I took a deep breath.
The two started conversing with each other. I tried to not be awkward. It's almost as if I'm not here. Well, if I'm really not here, then it would be alright if I stared at the both of them. Right?
