I sat down my phone, remembering that I still needed to take a shower. As turned on the water, I remembered that Ranboo would be leaving tomorrow, meaning that I wouldn't be able to talk to Wilbur anymore.I really sound like a simp right about now.
-
"RANBOO!" I yelled across the house.
"YEAH?" He responded. I walked to his room, I really wasn't in the mood for a yelling match from across the house right about now. I opened the door to see him sitting on a made bed with a suitcase on the floor.
"Oh, well I was gonna tell you to start packing but it seems you've already done that," I slightly laughed. Ranboo softly chuckled. He sounded tired.
"What time did you go to bed last night?" I asked, skeptically. He gave an awkward smile. "Like... 4am?" Ranboo replied.
"Oh god, you idiot," I groaned.
"Sorry!" He quickly apologized, "Tubbo needed help setting up something," he defended.
I wasn't mad or anything, I just knew how Ranboo never liked to go to bed when he needed to. I did the same of course, but he wasn't supposed to follow my lead!
"Whatever," I told him, "go put your stuff in the car."
-
I turned onto the highway. "I still don't get why you wouldn't let me drive myself home! I've had my license for almost a year!" Ranboo cried.
"Because you like to go 15 miles above the speed limit, that's why," I rolled my eyes. "Well the speed limit is a recommendation," he grumbled.
"Ranboo! It's called a LIMIT for a reason," I scoffed. Ranboo mumbled something in response that I couldn't quite hear.
There was silence for a bit. "Can I at least have aux?" Ranboo pleaded.
I gestured to the cord plugged in, which he immediately plugged into his phone. I saw him tap on his phone for a bit until I hear 'A Mask of My Own Face' by Lemon Demon play.
"Are you serious?" I joked. Ranboo aggressively nodded. I shook my head, turning my focus back to the road.
-
We finally arrived at my parent's house, after what felt like forever. It had been a while since I'd been here, now that I'd thought about it.
I helped Ranboo take his stuff to his room upstairs and then made my way to the kitchen. It was already about 11am by this point, but I was still extremely tired. I decided the best thing to do would be to get a cup of coffee.
Just as I was pouring myself a mug, I heard someone coming down the stairs. I turned around to see nobody other than my mother. She had the biggest smile on her face, clearly happy to see me.
She pulled me into a tight hug, until she broke away. "Oh Rose! You have no idea how happy I am to see you!" She beamed.
I weakly smiled, "I missed you too, mom. Oh! Also, how was your trip? You went to... umm, Oregon, right?" I asked her.
