Lottie was sitting by the side of the frozen lake, gazing at its surface as the sun started to set. She took a sip from her hot chocolate, allowing herself to forget about reality for just a moment.
She heard footsteps running towards her, the snow had made it pretty obvious. She turned her head to see Jamie in a black jacket and black pants.
Typical Jamie.
He ran his fingers through his messy black hair and took a seat beside her. She tried to smile at him but she still couldn't cope with her broken heart so she turned back instead. "Lottie," He said; she glanced at him "I'm sorry for ever hurting you and I want you to know I do want to make this work. You're the only one who can make me smile and I truly do love you, Lottie Pumpkin."
He stroked her hair and breathed in her rosy scent, in hopes to become reunited. Lottie set aside her cup of hot chocolate and looked into his burnt hazel eyes. She saw small flecks of gold in them; flecks of honesty. She leaned in towards him and so did he. Her face brushed up against his and she kissed him. When they pulled away Lottie grinned "That's all I ever wanted to hear,"
The next few days were incredible. Lottie got to spend time with Jamie all she wanted. Ellie even started to come around, she initiated a smile at them when they greeted her. Lottie was getting the feeling that Ellie was going to end up being friendly and supportive about their relationship. Every morning, right before breakfast, Jamie would come to greet her at her door to say "good morning" and give her a kiss on her forehead. Sometimes she even stays overnight in his room watching movies or talking. She would even fall asleep on Jamie's chest at some point between 11-12 pm. It was really spectacular for her.
