Salty tears ran down her face while dark brunette hair swished behind her as she ran. Running past the many trees in the forest, doing as best as she could to stay away from the one not to far behind her. She searched for a place to hide, anywhere, but it was too dark. Looking behind her she saw it.

Shard's POV

Bolting straight up out of bed, kicking red crimson bed sheets off as sweat dripped down my face.

What was that...

Looking towards the misty window, i see that the rain is still pouring. Will it ever stop. At least there was no one staring at me this time i guess...

Taking my feet off my bed i looked down to see i was still wearing my converse. When will i ever learn, i thought as i giggled a bit.

Sighing i realised that it was really lonely here, all alone for as long as i could remember in a birch house, waking up to rain and thunder if i was lucky.

Hah, what fun...

But now that i think about it, what did happen to me when i was younger.

No One's POV

Two pairs of eyes stared out of the dark cave, hidden by mighty trees and a few bushes. Both looked at each other with worried glances then looked down at the new pair of blue and green eyes that shined brightly at the two.

Outside their sheltered haven were enemies stalking through the woods, hunting to find their prey. The four hunters looked around the area, eyes wide open for anything before continuing on.

What were they hunting exactly?

Beasts that deserved to burn in the pits of hell, burnt alive then suffer for being born a monster.

The two pair of eyes faintly glowed in the dark, a pair of blue eyes looking with worry at the blue and green eyed youngling she had in her arms, while the other, a pair of golden eyes looked out of the dark cave they hid in.

Deciding he had enough the pair of golden eyes looked to the blue ones. Exchanging glances they nodded then started creeping out of the cave.

The four hunters crept towards the cave they saw, hoping to find the monstrous creations and end their lives.

The pair carrying their youngling looked about, fear laced with anger and sadness mixed within their eyes. Sensing that their hunters were come closer to the area they were in, the pair started to shift both their body types. Once completed with this small transformation, a pair of two wolves stood in place.

They ran carrying their sleeping youngling hoping to keep her safe. Loud shouts and footsteps were heard rushing after the two wolves.

BANG!

One of the four hunter shot the blue eyes wolf carrying the youngling. Smiling with victory the ran closer to the fallen wolf to grab their pup, but the golden eyed wolf wouldn't let that happen, he wouldn't let his pups mother die in vain. Quickly he picked the pup up in his jaws and ran. He ran left and right hoping to dodge all bullets that were fired, but he started to lose speed as were the hunters but they pushed themselves further towards the slowing wolf.

Two of the hunters fired.

The golden eyed wolf stared at the four men. He started to drop down to the floor whimpering in pain. He stared towards his pup as his eyes started to close. The hunters picked up the now awake and frightened pup, and walked away as one of the other hunters shot the other wolf.

Shard's POV

M-Mother?...

Father?...

B-But i...i don- i don't understand. Just...why?

Tears ran down my face as i replayed the memory fragment over and over again. Rage boiled inside me, those hunters deserve to die all of them do. They deserve the worst punishment of all. I growled as i gritted my teeth, staring at my twin daggers that lay on my bedside table.

I grabbed my daggers then started to head for the door. Before i could open it though i was greeted by the same pair of glowing purple eyes.

"What do you want!" I shouted towards 'Yuki'

She didn't answer.

"Answer me before i drive my dagger into your throat" I warned ready to do so if necessary.

She still didn't answer me.

"You chose wrong i guess" I growled about to drive my daggers into her throat.

"Wait" She said.

"What!" I shouted, once again.

"Wait, you'll see" Is all she said as she ran out the door. About to chase after her, i noticed something on the ground.
