As the smoke cleared Bakugo was standing unharmed and Uraraka was on the ground. Even with her plan thrown away so easily, Uraraka still stood up to fight. Respectable, and judging by Bakugo's face he thought so too. As Bakugo charged her she turned to give it one last shot, but her body had other plans, it appeared. As she turned Uraraka collapsed from how much she pushed herself. Even as she was on the ground she still tried to crawl and continue the fight, Nemuri ran in to check on her and called the fight there.

-Y/n's POV-

After the med-bots carried Uraraka off the field and Present Mic's less than enthusiastic announcement of Bakugo's victory there was a short break before the second round.

Iida and I were chatting about the matches so far and I could not help but laugh at his reaction when his match was brought up. As we were talking I heard Sero greet Bakugo.

"Hey, Bakugo! That was rough, huh? Playing the bad guy." Sero said.

"Even if it was because of the match-up you played an amazing villain, Bakugo." Tsu included.

"Shut up and be quiet!" Bakugo yelled back.

"But man, I can't believe you were able to aim such a huge blast at a frail girl." Kaminari chastised. "I couldn't help, but hold back." He whined.

"And that is why ya lost your match, dude." I said turning around. "Did you see me pull any of my punches against Mina, of course I would've rather my shoes not ended up partially melted." I said side eyeing Mina as she nervously scratched her cheek.

"The draw from the seventh match of the first round, Kirishima and Tetsutetsu. The winner of their arm wrestling match will decide who advances on!" Present Mic said announced over the stadium.

Cementoss came up and made a table in the middle as Kirishima and Tetsutetsu stood on either side. They immediately both slammed their elbows down and started an arm wrestling match. As they were both putting their all into the table, they simultaneously gripped the edge with their other hands and dug their fingers into the corner. After a few minutes of even struggle Kirishima came out on top and smashed Tetsutetsu's hand through the table.

"Kirishima is the winner!" Nemuri announced. As Tetsutetsu was reeling from his defeat, Kirishima offered him a hand up and the crowd was loving the sportsmanship.

"Now we've got everyone who's advancing to the second round! So let's get it started!" Present Mic announced.

"Izuku and Todoroki's match is first right? Should I be worried about this one?" I ask rhetorically.

"While it will be an interesting match, you truly should have more faith in Midoriya." Iida said as I leaned back in my seat.

"It's not that I don't have faith in him it's -- *sigh* It's just that I know what he's like. He has a good head on his shoulders, but he gets caught up in the moment sometimes, ya know?" I explained to Iida.

"Hm, yes I do understand what you are saying. For example back in the training battles when he used his attack to break the floor, I could not see him doing that in a different situation. But nevertheless we are his friends, so we must cheer him on!" Iida exclaimed as I nodded. After a few more minutes of conversation Uraraka came back.

"Those two haven't started yet have they?" She asked behind me. "I have to watch."

"Nah, I think they're still getting re--Good lord! What happened to you?!" As I turned around I jumped in surprise as I saw Uraraka. She looked like she needed her humanity restored.
