Why Are You Running

When i saw Kai coming in with food I beamed with delight, but there was a guy walking in behind him.

Why does he look so familiar?

"Ray?!", I shouted.

When he saw me his eyes widened and he started running away.

I ran behind him, "Why are you running?!", I shouted.

After some point I lost him.

When I came back, I saw people whispering around the playground.

"How do you know him?", someone whispered into my ears.

"Woah, when did you get here Kaira?", I said stunned by her sudden appearance.

"Answer me first!"

"I just do"

"You do know that he fell in the devil's pool earlier this morning right?", Kaira whispered.

"What?!", I shouted.

"Shh don't be so loud", Kaira whispered.

Just when i was about to say something Kai came in.

"What is going on??", he said, confusion visible on his face.

"I'll tell you later", I said, still shocked by what Kaira just told me.
