Ch.21

Hana groan, holding her terribly aching head. She feel like she's just been forced to an intensive training nonstop for years, not helping with how she didn't know where she is currently.

That's when she realise, there's a ring on her right hand ring finger. She tried to take it off to inspect it closer to no means. The rings won't budge even a little!

She stand up from below the tree shade she's on, and a sigh escape her red lips. How many hours has she spent there? Has it not past a day yet? Does Jin Woo is okay on his own? Random question start filling her head one by one. She wish she can have a long cold bath and some sleep when she's back.

She walk around the forest she's in. There's nothing special about it. Well... if there's one it's the fact that she didn't see even one animal in it. And it's way too quite here.

A dread feeling wash over her. There's totally something wrongs here!

As she's about to flee from the area, she feel a shadow overloom and went past her back.

Before she's able to react, feel herself getting knocked hard on her head. A numb feeling appear on her back. She cough out blood, her body was sent flying across the area. She shakily tried to stand back up. She hold onto the tree for support.

[ TWO-HEADED WITCH APE KING ]

Is what the system notification said. Hana let out a dry laugh, staring onto her opponent. "Just now...is it a mental attack?..he sent a mental attack before punching his opponent...not bad."

The Two Headed Witch Ape King rush towards her with its large claws. It let out a loud gibber, moving with a very fast speed.

Hana manage to dodge the ape attack gaining some distance between them. She let out a sigh and created an ice spear with her right hand. Her expression turn serious as she look at the ape.

'This ape...is an a whole another level than any monsters I fight before! I will truly died if I don't dodge it's attack just now. This ape is very strong physically and extremely fast. Using only magic won't suffice... and so do only strength... what should I do...'

She jump away as far as she can from the Two Head Witch Ape King to gain some advantage but the ape is not dumb. The ape let out a taunt, disturbing one's mentally from the sound. Hana falter for a second giving a chance for the ape to attack her.

The Two Headed Witch Ape King leap towards her; her eyes widen. She use her arm to block the attack, but because of the difference from their strength, Hana was blown away.

She panted and let out another cough of blood as her back bump towards the tree. She wipe the blood from her mouth, a shadow cast over her face. She glance deeply at the ape from the tree still panting, only her left eyes is visible; showing a cold looking slit with silver color.

Raising her left hand directing towards the ape, it glows. The element of water, fire and snow mixing forming a powerful blow heading to the ape. An explosion occurred, and Hana shoulder slumped down, in both relaxation and tiredness.

'Is it over?' She thought.

When the smoke clear, what she see shock her. The Two Head Witch Ape King is still alive! And it's barely injured from her attack!

The ape start to make its way to her. She stand up and try to move around, hoping it would make it harder to hurt her.

She attack again using elemental fusion. 'I won't survive long if this opted to continue!'

She doesn't know how many hit the ape land at her and how many hit she land on the ape. If only she's stronger in terms of strength, she might be able to turn the table over!
