Rain carefully crept out of his room, fully clothed and ready to go to school. Only to be surprised by the small girl in front of him that had started to live with them.
Shine gazed at Rain, not amused as she continued to walk in her own pace. Rain raised an eyebrow, is she this disrespectful? He asked himself. He went downstairs, seeing the maids nervously bringing the plates in which were filled with food.
He sat on the chair, eying Shine who wore a white blouse, partnered with dark violet jeans and black sneakers.
Is it just me or her clothes seem to consist mostly of dark colored attire? He thought, as he munched on the his favorite garlic bread.
Shine ate in silence, while looking at the young boy across from her;Rain, who was busy staring at her.
She grew irritated, but chose not to speak. It was unlike of her to do so anyways. She hastily put down her fork, giving Rain the look that told him the message 'stop-looking-or-I-will-kill-you'. Rain gulped and mentally slapped himself.
The two walked put of the house after they had eaten breakfast. The birds tweeted, the fresh morning air had rejuvenated Rain as the flowers in front of him danced with the rhythm of the wind.
Shine couldn't care less, she had already started walking while Rain was busy enjoying himself.
"Hey wait!" Rain called out, grabbing his car keys. He had opt to take her to school with him, despite the odds that the school campus would make them the new sizzling topic.
Shine shrugged, looking pale at the sight of the car Rain pointed at.
Before he knew it, Shine was already running away from him. He ran after her, and as soon as he neared her. He had tripped on a pebble which sent them rolling together. Rain had caught a whiff on Shine's hair and he had to admit, they smelled heavenly. The scent of vanilla had lingered.
Rain gently peeled his eyes open as he gazed at Shine's doll looking face, her eyes swallowing him into a blue abyss. Terrifyingly captivating.
"Hey, get off of me!" She screamed, causing Rain to be in a state of shock. Did she just scream? he asked himself, she effing raised her voice. Rain thought, still stricken with surprise and fascination.
Yet Rain was still on top of her, still unable to get himself off of her. One reason was that her hair was stuck on one of the buttons on his red checkered polo. Forcing it would hurt her, which would probably be a suicidal wish.
"Ugh, would you just fucking get off of me?" This time Shine spoke into a more intimidating tone, never has he heard her speak more than once. Hearing her soft yet feisty voice seemed to be a miracle, although he had to admit. Her voice was cute.
"You know your hairs stuck." Rain conveyed, pointing at the mass of her stuck at one of his buttons.
Shine rolled her eyes, she brought her hand into one of her pants pockets, grabbing a black razor sharp scissor. Shine cut the group of her hair, not caring if it would have a tremendous change in what she'll look like.
"Dim-wit." She muttered, walking away with the black strands floating to who knows where.
"She's one interesting girl." He mumbled, "Although why did she have a scissor with her?" Rain thought. Was she some kind of psychotic serial killer?
Rain shivered from the thought.
Well since she doesn't want to ride with me, might as well go to school, Rain thought to himself as he rode his car.

An arm had slowly crept unto Rain's shoulder, causing him to shiver. He turned around to see the twins who had huge grins plastered on their faces. Timothy, the older and mischievous one grabbed a picture from his leather jacket while Dominick, the kind and quiet one had a smile on his face as if he had won the lotto.
"What's up?" Rain asked, sensing that the twins were more enthusiastic than usual, which was kind of creepy.
Timothy showed him the picture, it was a picture of him and Shine bumping with each other when they first met. Shine had a un-moving scowl on her face while Rain had a curious look on his face.
Rains eyes almost bulged out of it's sockets, how could've they got it?
"The newspaper club is making you both the main article for this week. " Timothy added, the other students had gathered around them. Most were girls that tried to get Rains attention, although he brushed them off in a polite manner.
"So hows our little bet going?" Dominick spoke, taking the seat beside Rain. "The hollow is one tough pickle." He reminded, just to make it sound more challenging.
"She's not as hollow as you think, for starters sh-." Rain stopped, almost spilling the confidential information which would cost his dignity.
"Sh?" The two asked in unison.
"She likes wrestling." The twins looked bewildered, they didn't seem to buy it so Rain looked over his watch pretending to make it look like he had other plans. "Oh look at the time, I've got to go guys. I've got a date to attend to." Rain gathered his books and grabbed his bag as he made a run for it.
"This isn't going to be easy."
