Mister Rogers meets Erma Williams

It started like any other day until some little spooky ghost girl started to make her way into the house and saw the unsuspecting Rogers who was busy reading a book.

The girl made her way slowly around him and got into a position to scare him. once in position she lunged out quickly.

"Mercy!" Mister Rogers screamed in horror and fell backward as he saw the girl's face through his book. the girl started to giggle in joy as she successfully scared him, Mister Rogers started to laugh too since the little girl was laughing.

"that was a nice scare" Mister Rogers said to which the little girl nodded "do you like scaring people?" he asked to which the little girl nodded in joy.

"do you have a name?" Mister Rogers asked the girl nodded yes as Mister Rogers waited for her to talk "Erma" softly said the girl "Erma? if I remember correctly that means universal" Erma looked at Mister Rogers in surprise.

"who are you?" asked Erma

"I'm Fred Rogers" he softly said "and your name shows that there is no one else in the whole universe, that's just like you and the things you do make it so that you are being you"
Erma decided that she wouldn't haunt him... for now. Erma looked out the window as she heard her mother call for her

"time to go?" Mister Rogers asked to which Erma responded with a nod
Mister Rogers stood up from his chair and opened the door for Erma
"Thank you" Erma said as she started to walk out the door as Mister Rogers waved goodbye
