Declaration of War

3rd person POV ( Camp half blood)
It was a normal day at camp half blood , Apollo  had just began his journey with the sun chariot , and the trees still swayed over the gentle midnight sea breeze . The canoe lake reflected the beautiful sunrise as a clear mirror image .The birds had started chirping happily. The waves of the seas lapped gently against the shore, calm and soothing , but something was wrong. The atmosphere was tense and there was a sinking feeling that something wrong was going to happen.Soon enough , chattering of the campers was heard from the dining pavilion. Annabeth was glancing at the Poseidon table waiting for Percy to come back. She wondered when will he come back from Sally's house . He had assured her that he will come back till breakfast today , yet there were no signs of him . She shrugged it off , thinking he must have slept late . She was brought out of her thoughts when the conch blew 3 times signalling an attack . All the campers panicked , it had only been a few months after the second Giant war , but the camp was still reeling from the losses of their loved ones and the newer ones were in no way prepared for another war . All the older war veterans immediately had their armour in place and marched up the hill to check out the army . To say they were shocked would be an understatement. The army easily consisted about 500 or more monsters along with good ole Beef-head , and the Hydra and the Nemean lion, who was already engaged in combat with Peleus for the golden fleece. To make matters worse , the barrier seemed to be weakening due to the constant pounding of monsters.Also , Percy was yet to be seen and Mr D had gone for a council meeting.Annabeth was already shouting battle orders from the front "Apollo cabin divide yourself in healers and archers , younger campers go stay in the Big house till further notice , Ares and Athena at the front , Hermes and Hepheastus make traps as soon as possible , others standard formation". All the campers scrambled quickly to do their jobs. Meanwhile , the monsters had successfully broken the magical barrier. Annabeth shouted again "Clarisse come with me for the Nemean lion , Jason , Frank , Hazel and Leo go for the the Hydra , Piper and Malcolm take some Ares campers and go for the Minotaur".
Annabeth POV
I cursed the Fates, it had only been 6 months since the last war and now we have another war on our hands. I mean can we ever  get a break ?. With a final battle cry , i charged towards The Nemean Lion, i remember Percy had defeated it , but how ? . Ooh yeah , aim at the mouth . I quickly formulated a plan and told Clarisse "I am going to distract it while you aim your spear at its mouth okay ?" She nodded. I quickly charged headfirst at the Lion . As expected the dagger could not pierce its skin, but it successfully diverted its attention towards me . With a loud roar it charged towards me , but could not make it , as Clarisse had already striked her spear up his throat . With a triumphant smirk , i walked up to pick its coat which is impenetrable. Then suddenly , a sharp pain emerged from my right lung . I looked down to see The Minotaur's axe dangling around my torn flesh. I spit out some golden ichor , and tried to walk towards the infirmary, but stumbled on my steps and collapsed on the ground. My vision got blurry , black spots were dancing around. Is this how it feels to die ?, no , this can't be happening i am immortal , no that means i will be reforming,i will one day go back to my seaweed brain. I could hear faint screams of Piper trying to wake me up , but they seemed so far away . Then i literally burst into particles . (Golden dust)

Meanwhile on Percy's house
Percy's POV
I was dozing my head off dreaming about me and Annabeth , oh how i loved those blonde princess curls and her curious nature , questioning everything. I was awoken by a shrill scream which sounded like my mother's scream. Holy shit my mother. I quickly uncapped riptide and ran out of the room, to my mom who was looking out of the balcony and pointing towards the street opposite to us, and what i saw made my blood run cold. A horde of about 100 monsters were marching straight towards my house. I clenched my fists unknowingly. I will not let them hurt my family. We quickly went to the rooftop to survey the full extent of the army. Then suddenly i had a percy level crazy idea. I did my best New York cab whistle. Seconds,later my ever faithful pegasi , Blackjack arrived.
Hey boss, you better have donuts if you are calling me at this hour or else......
I gulped "No blackjack, i want you to take my mom and Paul to somewhere safe for a few hours"
The pegasi whined for a bit more then agreed if he got donuts. With that mom and Paul flew out . Now the real fun begins.
I inspected the army for awhile waiting for them to close in on the building so that my plan to work. The army consisted of several dracenae, empousai and cyclops. An Aethopian drakon was also present. As soon as they were close enough, i used my earthshaker powers to cause a minor earthquake , just to throw them off-balance. Before they could recover, i dived into them from the roof. And in midair i summoned a storm big enough to cover me, and grew it until it could match the Aethopian drakon in size. There were very few monsters left now. Some had run away in fear, other had been squashed by my storm. A total about 20 monsters were left, cowering  behind the drakon. I dissolved the storm because I didn't have any energy to keep it going. The drakon seeing its opportunity, swung its tail at me. I quickly dodged and grabbed the spike on its tail. The drakon did not seem too happy with this and roared with poison spewing out of its mouth. I climbed up from its scales to its head stabbed it in the left eye . It howled with pain and began shaking its head madly trying to get me off its head . I was almost thrown off but at the last moment i stabbed riptide in its head and stayed put. The drakon roared in pain , me being me , took my chance and stabbed its right eye , when it suddenly thrashed its head into the nearby building, i quickly slid off its head and jumped down . It dissolved into golden dust but not before stabbing me in the leg with spikes which were in the drakon's tail.
I quickly called down blackjack , bade my mom and Paul goodbye and left for CHB .

Meanwhile on Olympus
3rd person POV
A man with startlingly long white hair , and a full beard appeared in the throne room. His features were regal , as if he were a king. His eyes were a deep shade of sky blue with lightning flashes in between. He carried a spear which was sparkling with lightning at random moments. He wore a traditional greek chiton which was sky blue in colour. His aura was even greater than the titans. Sensing somebody powerful in their throne room,The gods immediately flashed in. Zeus gloatingly pointed his masterbolt at the intruder "Who are you immortal , identify yourself". The man merely chuckled "Why grandson, don't you recognise me ? The man who you have inherited your domain from ?". Zeus looked dumbfounded at his questions , then looked enraged this man dared to talk to talk to the king of gods like that . He was just going to teach this man a lesson , when suddenly Athena gasped loudly . "Yo-you a-ar-are Ouranos , aren't you ?". Ouranos launghed "Yes, yes i am , now let's get to business shall we ?". All the gods instantly paled . All the elder gods had a horrified look on their faces . "What do you want Lord Ouranos?" Zeus asked respectfully . Ouranos laughed a cold hearted and humourless laugh . "Why, i have come to reclaim the throne which is rightfully mine , yes i come with a declaration of war , so goodbye olympians. And Zeus, have fun in the realm of faded." With that he chanted "I Ouranos , primordial god of the sky , reclaim my throne as the king of sky". With that Zeus's form began flickering , before it entirely faded and his throne disappeared. The gods watched in horror. "Now one final gift" he waved his hand and 2 screens emerged . Then he flashed out. One showed the campers desperately fighting the monsters, while the other one showed another horde of monsters fighting Percy.
All of the once great and mighty Olympians were left in shock. They had just witnessed their king fading right before their eyes and most of them lost their children in the fight at camp too. Despite her grief sticken face, obviously due to the loss of her favourite daughter, Athena manged to ask "What will we do now , and who shall be the next king?" . Some were supporting Hestia , some Poseidon ,some were boasting about themselves (cough*Ares*cough). Poseidon slammed his trident into the ground immediately shutting everyone up . "Do not take Ouranos lightly , he is a formidable enemy , a very powerful one too , it took Gaea , and the 4 titans while being away from his domain to kill him . While we were in father's stomach , we have heard tales of his cruel acts , that made Kronos's actions look innocent. Now we shall vote for the king in a civilised manner , am i clear ?". All the gods paled , then looked to other elder gods for confirmation. Hestia nodded "He was a cruel man indeed , he had many different monsters at his disposal too , monsters even stronger than typhon , monsters so ancient that they were born before the titans , now off to voting it seems there are 3 contenders , Me , Poseidon and Hades , now vote between us three". Athena , Hermes , Apollo and Artemis voted for Poseidon, while Hephaestus , Demeter , Hera , Dinosyus voted for Hestia , and Aphrodite and Ares voted for Hades. After a bit of arguing it was agreed that Poseidon and Hestia would rule jointly. Immediately Poseidon ordered "Call a war council , with all the minor gods and demigods , hunters and amazons, in 30 minutes."
With that he went to Athena hugging her tightly , who broke her dam of tears she was holding . Sobbing into his chest.
All the gods flashed out , thinking the same thing , 'We are fucked'.
