Chapter 13

Diane's P.O.V :

He took me back home. I never expected to see him again.

''Are you fine?'' He said worriedly.

''Yeah.'' I said smiling. ''How did you find me?'' 

''You think you will run away easily.'' He said smiling warmly.

''Nah.'' I said then i heard a knock it was my mom.

''Cole.'' She said. ''Oh dear you woke up!'' She said coming towards me. 

''Yeah.'' i said and then she gave me a bone crushing hug.

''I'm not fine now though i guess your going to kill me.'' I said giggling.

''Oh dear sorry..'' She said backing away.

''I guess i will leave then?'' Cole said getting up from the chair.

''Wait Cole.'' I said smiling. ''Give me your phone number.'' I said throwing the phone at him. 

''And don't give her a fake one.'' Mom added.

''Yeah sure. Here.'' He said throwing the phone back.

''Bye D.'' He said fast as he can and then he closed the door.

''Mom I'm so-'' 

''Im not going to be mad you, you trusted her but she spilled your secret.'' She said.

''Okay mom can i sleep now?'' I asked her lying.

''Yeah sure.'' She said kissing me on the cheek. ''Good night. Although its still morning.''

After she closed the door. I dialed the number that Cole gave me.

I sighed thank go it wasnt a fake number just like last time.

''Hello?'' i heard his warm voice say.

''Hey. Did you leave?'' I asked.

''Not really. Look from your window.'' 

''Okay.'' I said cheerfully. 

I got up from bed, And then went to the window there was this ladder i used when my mom didn't let me go out with Lola. Yes i used to run out without my mom knowing...

I saw Cole standing down givng me a thumbs up. 

''I can see you.'' I said through the phone.

''Arent you coming down?'' He asked.

''Amm, not sure.'' I said hesitatingly.

''C'mon I'll take you out for a coffee or wait you hate coffee i mean hot chocolate!'' 

''You remmeber.'' i said almost whisperring.

''why wont I. Lets go!'' He said smiling.

''Kay wait i'll wear my sweater.'' i said closing the phone.

I wore my sweater and headed to the window. but i was smart so i put some pillows under my blanket so my mom would think I'm sleeping and then i headed outside.

''Careful.'' he said.

''Its ok I'm used to this.'' I said smiling.

''Okay?'' He said.

When i went down he hugged me.

''I missed you.'' He said.

''Me too.'' I replied back. ''Now lets go.'' 

''Sure.'' he said breaking away from our hug.

Then we started walking on the platform. 

''Starbucks?'' He asked.

''Yeah.'' I said smiling.

Then i heard my phone ringing. ''Hello?'' A voice said.

''Amm hii its Diane.'' I said i hoping its not one of those people in the school making fun of me.

 ''Its Hailey.'' Hailey said.

''Excuse me?'' I said. I never expected Hailey to call me and make fun of me. She was that sweet person who doesn't care what people say about her.

''Hey listen Hailey! Im not in the mood to hear you making o-'' before i can complete she interupted me.

''I'm not here to make fun of you I'm worried about you!!'' She said.

Its the first time i hear Hailey Scream at me. Which was pretty much a shock.

''Look! where are you?'' She said.

''I'm going to Starbucks.'' I said.

''Good! Im there!'' she said happily.

''You skipped school?'' I asked. Hailey never skipped school never ever i always see her there sitting on the bench and people literally making fun of her.

''Yeah.. I was worried about you. you knowsince this didnt happen to you before and it did to me. I know how you feel.'' Hailey said.

''Oh okay so I'm coming and there is Cole with me.'' I said.

''Who is Cole but whatever come meet me asap bye!'' Before i say bye back she closed the line.

''We are meeting up with a friend.'' I said. 

''Good.'' He said flashing me a smile.
