you had realised something was off as soon as sam got back home after a day at the prison. his eyes looked different, they were red, and he seemed to always be in some sort of daze.
'hii sammy' you walk up to him and engulf him in a hug. he hesitates and doesnt hug back.
you decide not to question it and turn around to go back to watching (your favourite movie) but he grabs your hand.
'i wanna bring you somewhere, come on lets go'
he gently enough starts dragging you out of the house barely giving you time to get your shoes and a jacket on.
he brings you along to an area with steps going down a tunnel underneath the ground.
as you near closer to the bottom of the stairs you hear faint whispers and the air felt colder than the night sky.
'sam where are we even going i dont like it here' you ask quietly.
'just someplace nice sweetheart i promise everythings okay' he looks around to you and smiles but it didnt really feel like him.
yous get to the bottom and go around a corner to a huge room. realising what this place is, you gulp.
the egg.
he brings you closer than you want to be so you stop.
'sam i dont wanna go near it, this place gives me the creeps'
the whispers get louder and louder yet it still sounds like jibberish.
he doesnt respond yet drags you closer.
you start trying to resist and walk back, eventually starting to repeat his name getting louder and louder.
all of a sudden he snaps out of whatever trance the egg had him in.
his breath is heavy as he looks over st you.
you look terrified.
he starts realising what happened and immediatly wraps you in a comforting hug, mumbling apologies a hundred times over.
'its okay sammy, your okay, im okay, lets just get out of here yeah' you smile at him and both walk out back to your home, where yous continue to watch the movie you had been watching before.
