My Real Life Bad Fanfic that No One will Believe

I Promise this Story is True

Our story begins in October of 2019 with a young naive child discovering Dream on YouTube. He had somewhere between 200,000-300,000 subscribers, and the girl (we'll call her Rose seeing as that's the name on this account and I am that girl) really enjoyed his videos. After him saying "if you liked the video then subscribe you can always unsubscribe it's free" she thought damn he's right, and subscribed.

Now we fast forward to February of 2020 when Rose met another girl, we'll call her Elizabeth. Now Rose instantly took a liking to Liz and they became very close friends very quickly. At this point Dream had reached a little over a million subscribers (and we aren't even going to talk about the part of the story that happened around this time where dreams now ex banned me from her discord server because I was bad at that game scribblio and then tweeted about me, I have screenshots of her tweet like this girl legit tweeted about me being bad at the game smh).

Anyways, Rose and Liz became good friends, and at some point Rose told Liz she was in Sapnaps discord server and always wanted to talk to people in the vcs but would get nervous. Now Rose was a relatively shy quiet girl, but Liz had a huge personality, she had a way of making everyone like her and could always become the center of attention in any situation with little effort. Liz didn't watch Dream or Sapnap, she had never even heard of them, but she decided to join the discord server as well to help out Rose.

A few days pass and one of the girls notice that one of the vcs has somewhere around 50 people, and they think huh wonder what that's about, so they join the vc. And low and behold, Dream is in the vc talking about who knows what. Now remember when I said that Liz had a way of becoming the center of attention, well she decided to pipe up and says "I thought you're some big youtuber why's your mic so shit".

Dream kinda sounded annoyed I'm not gonna lie, he responded with something along the lines of "this isn't the mic I use to record" and then leaves the vc like 30 seconds later. Now some people were annoyed and said she made him leave, but Liz took this as an opportunity to send him a friend request.

And for some fucking reason, he accepts it.

Maybe Dream is a masochist, maybe he enjoyed being made fun of in front of dozens of people, but he accepts the request.

Now Rose is annoyed because she's the one that's a fan of him and Liz has never seen a single one of his videos.

They exchange a few boring texts and then don't talk for weeks, according to Liz he was a pretty dry texter.

At some point Liz also send friend requests to Sapnap and Punz and I don't remember who else and a few people accept, I'm assuming because they see that Dream has her friended.

Now fast forward a few months. Liz has sporadically texted Dream over the months but nothing that interesting has happened. Rose has a new boyfriend and for some reason he asks to be added to the server and then instantly says he's gonna get his friends to raid the server.

Rose tells him not to but he doesn't listen and invites a few friends who send stupid links and texts, and Liz and Rose join the vc to apologize to people for inviting Rose's boyfriend in the first place and it doesn't seem to be all that big of a deal until suddenly...

Liz gets pulled out of the main vc into another vc.

She sends hectic texts to Rose saying she's been pulled into a vc with Sapnap, and says she told him she won't talk to him unless Rose gets pulled in too. Unfortunately instead of inviting Rose she's removed from the vc, and Liz instantly calls Rose.

The situation is confusing, but apparently multiple mods are texting Liz, we assumed at first they thought she started the raid.

At some point, a mod tells her that Sapnap believed that Liz was actually Dream's ex on an alt account, and he basically thought that Dream's ex was trying to sabotage the server and have it raided. He had pulled her into the vc to hear her voice and once she talked he knew it wasn't her and moved her out of the vc.

Liz loved the attention, she loved that she had made Sapnap panic, she loved that so many mods were messaging her, she loved that she was a source of chaos.

One of the mods even told her that Sapnap almost deleted the server when he panicked, but there's no way to know if that's actually true.

Liz then took it upon herself to run with the Dream's ex thing. She put Dream's ex in her insta bio, she convinced people she was Dream's ex, and would constantly use the fact that Dream was her discord friend to "prove it".

When she wasn't pretending to be his ex, she was telling the story left and right to every person she could, always starting the story with "Have you heard of Dream the youtuber" and proceeding with the whole story of him accepting her friend request to almost making Sapnap delete his sever. She was known to embellish the story, seeing how far she could take it before people no longer believed it.

One day, which happened to be the day of the Streamys which Dream obviously was preoccupied with, Liz had the grand idea of trying to call Dream on discord to tell him the story.

She had told the story dozens of times over and over, it was her favorite story to tell, and she told Rose "I'm going to call him and say hey Clay do you know Dream the youtuber".

Of course she set up a screen recording and streamed the whole ordeal to her own discord server of friends in the hopes he might answer the call.

So she calls, and he almost instantly texts "what".

She tells him she has a crazy story to tell him, and obviously he's only exchanged a few texts with her and doesn't actually know her and doesn't answer the call. He even asks her who she is, to which she responds "we met in a discord server". She repeatedly tells him she has this "wacky" story and he needs to answer her call. But he repeatedly responds with saying she could just text the story.

Eventually she gives up, realizing he won't answer after Rose tells her that the Streamys are starting in a few min and he'd probably be watching it and wouldn't want to call some random girl.

But that didn't stop Liz from taking a picture of her sitting in a discord call on Dream's dms, making it look like she actually talked to him and wasn't sitting in the call alone.

This became Liz's one instagram post, perfectly coinciding with her bio saying Dream's ex.

It only gave her more fuel to carry on with this whole story of being Dream's ex, constantly trying to see who she could convince.

Liz and Rose talked often of making a YouTube of their own, making storytimes of their weird interactions with Dream and Sapnap. They had a channel name, an odd branding picked out, homemade minecraft skins that would stand out and be memorable, they had big dreams (no pun intended).

Unfortunately, their friendship had never been a healthy one, and as much as the girls loved each other, they always knew the friendship would go down in flames.

So as quickly as she had come, she had gone again, and Rose and Liz could no longer tell their story of Dream the youtuber to all those who joined their server, and could no longer dream about becoming famous on YouTube by telling their weird stories that would have likely gotten them nowhere.

As far as I know, Liz still has Dream as a discord friend unless he unfriended her in the last couple months since we last talked. Maybe she has more stories now, but unfortunately all of the fun and wacky stories always became a reality due to Liz, and with her no longer around, our story has come to an end.
