The One: Sequel to I'm Yours

Chapter 2

It was a few hours later before we actually landed, I was half asleep but then the thud that happened when we landed woke me up. I stood up quickly and calmly made my way out.

'Oh my god this is so exciting!' I thought to myself, it's just the fact that I get to see Robert while he's working is just great! Plus I get to be with my best friend, this day cannot just get any better.

But then, a limo pulled up and Amanda walked over, putting her stuff down in front of the door. I was just in shock from the fact that she actually got us a limo! What kind of friend would spend all the money and time to do this? An amazing one that's for sure. So, we got in the limo and were on our way to our hotel. At first I thought it was going to be a smaller hotel, ya know, not a big huge fancy one that every famous person stays in but no. It was just that. It took us about two hours to get completely settled in, I was worn out but Amanda was just bouncing around as happy as can be.

"Miranda come on!" Amanda yelled and shook me, I actually dozed off to be honest with you but I don't think she realized that. But, she got me up and out we went, either to go find Robert or to go to eat. Hopefully it is eating because let's be honest, I am starving .

We arrived at a very fancy restaurant, way too fancy for my liking, but it seems like something Robert would take me to. We sat down and ate, had a good conversation and all that jazz. But then I finally asked. "Why are you doing all of this Amanda?"

"I just wanted to do something nice for you. Plus I thought maybe I could find a hot Avenger to date too!" We both laughed and finished up our meals. It was around 11 p.m. before we finally got back to the hotel room and not once have I gotten a call from Robert. Not even a text!!

"Do you think he still loves me Amanda?" I asked feeling a bit panicked.

"Of course he does! He is filming Miranda. Give him some time. Or why don't you just go get some rest. Okay?" She said as she laid down in bed.

I nodded and pulled the covers over my body, and as I set my phone down I took a couple deep breaths to calm myself down. 'Yeah. He will call tomorrow'. I thought to myself before I finally drifted to sleep.
