HEROES OF THE OVERWORLD

PART II: EXPLORERS OF THE UNDERWORLD

They arrived in the Nether biome known as the Soulsand Valley. This biome is full of Soul Sand, Soul Soil, blue/Soul Fire, and TONS AND TONS of Skeletons. They immediately went to work on the Skeletons and destroyed all of them. But more kept spawning and they were forced to try to quickly have 1-2 person/people defend the other two while the other 2 try to quickly build a Nether shack out of Cobblestone for protection. They quickly build the tiny shack around their Nether Portal, run inside through a hole, and block off the hole with more Cobblestone. They then place a sign right in front of the spot where the hole used to be so they know where their "door" is. Then they quickly eat a bunch of Steak to refill their health bars which were greatly lowered from the battle, and then once all of them had gotten their health back up to full, they broke down the door and charged out to try to defeat the Skeletons. Derrick and Andrew team up and together instantly defeat 5 Skeletons all at once using an epic combo attack. Meanwhile, Michael gets in two REALLY good hits in on 2 different Skeletons with his Sharpness III Diamond Axe, instantly destroying both of them. At the same time, Daniel is getting in one good hit with his Sharpness III Diamond Sword and then blocking the Arrow that gets shot at him right after he hits the Skeleton with his Shield so that it bounces back and hits the Skeleton again, and then he finishes it off with a final blow from his Sharpness IV Diamond Axe. Eventually, the group defeats all the Skeletons and quickly lights up the entire area with Torches. Then they look around their Nether base and see a Ghast. They immediately knock back the Ghast's own Fireball right back at it with their Swords and kill it immediately. They then decide to try to hunt for a Nether Fortress. They see a HORDE of Piglins charging at them, all in at least Enchanted Leather Boots or a Golden Chestplate, all with either a Golden Sword, an Enchanted Golden Sword, a Crossbow, or an Enchanted Crossbow, and the gang immediately retreats right away from the Piglin horde. They then spy A BLAZE! They immediately dash towards it and chop it up with their Enchanted Diamond Swords and Enchanted Diamond Axes. They then find a Hoglin and immediately defeat it easily using the power of their Enchanted Diamond gear and grab the Raw Porkchops that it drops. Free food, I guess. Then they see a Bastion Remnant, and because there are 4 of them, they decide to go inside even without Gold Armor to make the Piglins inside not hostile. They find 1 Chest as well as 2 Double Chests and immediately loot all 3 of them, getting some Iron Boots enchanted with Soul Speed II as well as a Soul Speed III Enchanting Book and a few Gold Ingots as well as some Chains, Gold Blocks, Magma Cream, and some Obsidian. They check the 2 Double Chests and get more of mostly the same items as well as some Coal, Fire Charges, et cetera. But then, some Piglins spot the group. They charge at the group while they are looting the second Double Chest. Thankfully, Daniel notices before the Piglins can attack the group and shouts "Piglin warning!" to the group so that they know that there are Piglins coming at them. They close the Double Chest just barely managing to get everything from it and then the group all pulls out their weapons. Then the battle begins. First off, Derrick and Andrew both do a team combo on the same 3 Piglins, critting them all over and over until all 3 of them are dead. Daniel goes out swinging with his Sharpness IV Diamond Axe while Michael protects him after Daniel swings it due to it having a slow attack speed. The group manages to kill 5 out of the 10 Piglins currently up there with them when, OH NO, more Piglins come up to join the battle. Forced with no option but to flee, the group quickly sprints away and then towers up with blocks to the point where no Piglins can hit them. Well, no Piglins EXCEPT the ones with Crossbows. One of the Crossbow Piglins shoots Daniel off his pillar and knocks him over the edge to a giant Lava lake. Everyone assumes that he is just dead now, but luckily inside one of the Bastion Chests that Daniel looted there was an Ender Pearl, which he threw back to land after getting knocked off his tower so that it will land on the ground and will teleport him back to the ground. This plan works and Daniel lives to see another day. Then they just BARELY manage to escape the Bastion Remnant with their lives. Then they run back to the Nether shack and quickly travel back to the Overworld after the hard struggle that was their first venture into the pits of the Underworld known as the Nether.
