Silence filled the halls as y/n walked back and forth. Rubbing her chin as doctors checked on Irene. Shadows of clouds loomed into the room as she breathes out, sitting onto the bench as she rubbed her face. It's been hours since she ran Irene to the clinic after the bite she received from yang. She couldn't get her scream out of her head as a doctor soon walks out. Her eyes shifted towards him as he looks at her.

Y/n: "Is she ok?"

Doctor: "She will be alright. Thanking the bite wasn't very lethal to cause to much blood loss. But-"

The doctor paused as y/n looked at him. He sighs out as his eyes focused on you again.

Doctor: "The black veins aren't disappearing."

Y/n: "What do you mean doctor?? Is she infected with something?"

Doctor: "I don't believe so. We don't see any signs of changing or anything in her bloodstream that's causing any strain of infection. The only thing we found in her bloodstream was DNA of the one who bit her."

Y/n clinched her fist as her eyes glowed a bit.

Y/n: "yang."

The doctor nods as he shifted from his spot. Her own blood boiled at the thought of this but slowly calmed down. Rubbing her hands together as she looked at the doctor.

Y/n: "Can I see her?"

The doctor nods as he moved to the side to let her in. Breathing out, y/n walks towards the bed. Sitting onto the chair next to her. Seeing the veins on her neck and face pulsing black. Resting her head onto the bed as she breathes out a bit as footsteps were heard.





Vernal and Morrigan walked into the room as Morrigan just walked past Y/n. Sitting on the other side. Vernal places her hand onto your shoulders.

Vernal: "We heard what happened. Is she going to be alright?"

Y/n: "Yes thankfully. The wound wasn't severe. But unfortunately these still remain."

She points at the pulsing black veins on her neck and face. Morrigan rested her hand onto Irene's. Normally y/n wouldn't see Morrigan show much emotions, especially around other people.

Morrigan: "You idiot."

She mumbled towards Irene's sleeping form.



Although it seem she might not care to many peoples eyes, in y/n's eyes though, she could see the worry and fear in her eyes. Her own close friend and lover in bed from being bitten. Morrigan caressed Irene's face gently.

Y/n: "Do you wish for us to leave you two alone?"

Morrigan: "Please do."

Y/n nods as she gets up and walks out with Vernal before looking at Morrigan. She climbed into the bed with Irene and laid beside her. Resting her head onto her shoulder. Y/n breathes out as she leans against the wall. Memories slowly crept into her thoughts.

Vernal: "You ok love?"

Y/n nods as she looked at her, her eyes flickering.

Y/n: "I'm fine... this just... reminds me of something."

Vernal tilts her head a bit as Y/n looked at her arm. Remembering when she was out in the world. Alone. Defenseless. Then SHE came.



Then pain seered in her arm as thought haunts her, teeth sinking into her arm, blood dripping out. Then a roar of familiar armor clashing with her attacker: Irene, coming to her aid after hearing her cry. Vernal gently placed her hands onto your shoulders again. To which made you look at her again as she smiled.

Vernal: "I might know what'll make you feel better.... good food."

Y/n chuckles as she looked at Vernal with a smile as vernal took her by the hand and walked her to the cafeteria.
