As the sun set, I was reading one of my favorite books, but then, my phone rang, it was weird, I wasn't expecting anyone to call me, or so I thought, on the other end it was JC, "hey y/n!" "Oh hey JC, whats up?" i said curiously "so uh"he sounded nervous, as if he was expecting rejection, "I- I was thinking, for Valentine's Day I-" "I?" I said, I really want to know what's up, he isn't gonna.. "would you like to go on a date tomorrow? For Valentine's Day?" He said very quickly, I can't believe it, I knew it, he did have a crush on me! "I would love to!" I said with the biggest smile on my face "great!" He excitedly shouted "pick you up at 5?" "That seems about a good time" I said " awesome, I'll see you then! Bye" "bye!" I said as we both hung up.
seconds after that I heard a loud "YES!" Which was clearly JC's voice, I quickly called him again and said "I heard that" while laughing, "oh" he said while laughing a bit, I quickly hanged up the phone, I had a lot to plan, what I was gonna do, what I was gonna wear, what was gonna happen, I was just too excited, I quickly ran downstairs to tell my mom, "MOM MOM JC ASKED ME OUT FOR VALENTINES DAY!! "That guy that came over the other day?" She said "YES HES THE CUTEST ISNT HE?!?" I said "I'm so excited for you!" my mom said while hugging me " mom I gotta go I have to tell my other friends!" I called Lindsey and Jennifer to tell them what happened, they both freaked out as much as I did, time went by so fast, when I checked the clock it was 10:00 PM, I was so tired of being so excited, so I put on my pijamas, and went to bed, but I couldn't sleep, because of that stupid feeling we all feel when we like someone, butterflies.
February 14th, 1991
Finally, the day was finally here, it was 3:00 PM which meant I had 2 hours to get ready, I hoped in the shower, blow dryed my hair, put on my outfit which took me forever to pick but I decided on this

Put on some hair rollers, and put on a natural face of makeup, took out the rollers off my hair, cuz I looked like a grandma, and BAM I was ready to go, and I did all that within listening to my favorite Janet Jackson album, by then it was 4:55, I was freaking out, so I decided to call Lindsey, she gave me some pretty good advice, but then, the door bell rang, "LINDSEY HES HERE I GOTTA GO!" "GOOD LUCK GIRL YOU GOT THIS!" "HOPEFULLY!" I said while hanging up, I ran downstairs and opened the door, JC was there holding a bouquet of roses, "aw thank you!" "I thought you'd like them" he said nervously, I quickly sat them on a table, as I was heading out, I heard my mom say "you guys be careful and have fun" "we will!" I said while closing the door.
as I was entering JC's Jeep I asked "so, where are you taking me?" "Oh you see since we are part of a Disney show, I thought we could go to the famous Disney world" he said while smirking "it is the happiest place on earth, you know?" He said while laughing a bit "so Ive heard" I said while chuckling.
as he was driving the only thing I could do was stare into his eyes, "i think you have a staring problem" JC said while laughing a bit "you've noticed" I said while looking down and smiling a bit "ever since the first time I met you I noticed, I wasn't born yesterday, you know?" He said "I'm sorry," I said " oh no no it's okay, in-fact it's kind of flattering, no one has ever stared into my eyes like you do, it's like your actually listening to me." "I'm a very good listener, arent I?" I said while giggling "it's just, you have the most bluest eyes I've ever seen, it's sorta, beautiful." "Why thank you" he said while smiling at me, a couple minutes past by form that conversation, and then we arrived to our destination, Disney, we found a parking spot and parked the car, he got off very quickly, I couldn't figure out why until he opened the door for me, "can you be anymore adorable?" I said while smiling at him "I like to call it, being respectful" he said while smiling back at me, his smile made me want to kiss him, but it was too soon for that, at-least in my eyes.
as we walked in we both agreed to get on space mountain, as we where walking over to the ride we suddenly he suddenly grabbed my hand, here we go again those stupid butterflies, I loved the feeling but I also hated it because it makes me very nervous, we made it to space mountain and waiting in line, it took about 20 minutes for us to finally get on it, waiting in line wasn't t so bad because I got to talk to JC, we almost kissed, but it was almost our turn so we payed our attention to that instead, we got on, it was pretty fun, soon after we got in a bunch of other rides, hanging out with JC was so fun.
soon after we where getting kind of tired of the rides so we decided to eat something, and so he got us churros, they where pretty delicious, after that we walked a bit around the park, I spotted a gift shop and offered to see the stuff inside "I can't see why not" JC said, so we went in and went our separate ways, I was looking at the different types of mugs, when all of a sudden I feel a tap on my shoulder, as I turn around it was JC holding a bag, "for me?!" I said very surprised, he nodded and handed me the bag, "but I didn't get you anything JC!" " it's okay your happiness makes up for it" he said, I was blushing so hard by then, I looked and felt as red as a tomato, as I opened the bag, I saw it was a stuffed animal of flounder, form the little mermaid, how did he know? "Omg JC how did you know? I love flounder!" "Oh really I didn't know! I just thought you might like it", I gave him a hug for making this Valentine's Day one of the best Valentine's days ever!, by then it was 7:50, we where walking down the fountain near the spaceship earth, it was dark and a few people where around, "thank you." I said "no problem" he said as he looked at me while smiling "your actually my first date" I said while chuckling a bit "really" he said surprised "your actually my first date too" he said "really" I said even more surprised, but then we stopped walking, he looked at me, I quickly hugged him for a couple of seconds, then I looked up to him, and then it happened, he kissed me, and so I kissed him back, it was like a dream come true.
