Day 4

"So where to?"

Juvia sighed, pointing to the left, her sleeve falling over her hand. She began to walk, Gray following behind. "So what's this guy like?" He questioned, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"He's kinda mean, but he has a soft spot for me. He'll probably hate you though." Juvia explained. Gray grunted, "That's great."

After a few more minutes of walking the two arrived at an old building. It looked like one of those factories that had been turned into an apartment building. Juvia trudged inside and up the stairs.

On the second floor she stopped and turned to a door on her right. She held up a fist to knock but paused. Gray took a glance down to her, "What's wrong?"

Juvia turned to him, her cheeks flushed with life and her eyes filled with worry. "What if he doesn't want to see me?" She fanned her hands in front of her face.

Gray raised a brow, this was the first time he'd seen her care about anything this much. This guy most be pretty important. Gray sighed, leaning down, and cupped Juvia's cheeks.

"It's fine. I don't know what you did but he'll forgive you."

The bluenette slowly nodded, biting her lip. "Thanks..." Gray nodded, releasing her face. Juvia turned again and this time successfully knocked on the door. After three knocks the door flew open.

Standing there was a gruff guy. He was taller than Gray and had long black hair, tied back with a bandanna. There were several piercings lining his face and he had bags under his eyes.

"Juvia?"

"I'm glad you're okay..."

The man fell into silence, lifting a coffee mug to his lips. He had invited them inside upon seeing his little sister but since then it's been awkward silence.

The man, Gajeel, cleared his throat, setting the mug down. "Wanna explain why you disappeared on me?" Juvia looked down to her lap and Gray raised a brow.

"What happened?" He questioned.

Gajeel turned his eyes to the counter, "Me and Juvia grew up together. Things started getting bad, her parents died and for some reason people started to bully her. I tried to take care of her but she always said 'I don't care' and then a few months ago she ran off."

Juvia nodded slightly, keeping her eyes on the floor. "How'd you meet her?" Gajeel questioned, lifting his eyes. Gray sighed, "I found her in a park alone when it was raining and took her back to my place. I took care of her and she ended up staying with me."

The black haired male nodded, turning his eyes to Juvia. "So why'd you come here?" She began to fiddle with her nails, sweat dripping down her face. Why did she come here?

"I...I came because I wanted to apologize." Juvia shakily looked up, standing. "So, I'm sorry. Sorry for leaving without saying anything and sorry for staying gone." She squeezed her eyes shut, "You don't have to forgi-"

Her voice was muffled by a shirt. The bluenette looked up to see Gajeel with an arm on her head, holding her in place.

"I forgive you."
