I Woke Up And Became A Demon

Strange Presence

Light Yagami, an average highschool student, had recently picked up a note book called the 'Death Note', he'd been killing criminals for the past 2 weeks to create a new world. However during those 2 weeks, he's been feeling a strange presence, and no it's not Ryuk at all, it's like a fiery wind that randomly hits him while he's killing criminals or studying, it's been bothering him and his mom thinks nothing of it, he feels like him and Ryuk are not the only ones there, he's asked Ryuk if he can see something he can't but not even Ryuk knew what it was. It was a cold night, Light was peacefully sleeping, the strange presence made it's appearance, a tall demon like figure stood above Light, looking at him, it walked around his room, still staring intensely. The presence hissed, whooshing into Lights body, making the room uncomfortably warm for a second before it went back to normal. Light woke up, feeling unusually warmer than normal, he sighed, getting up to go take a quick shower, he turned to look at himself, noticing something... different, immediately, he freaks out "aaahhh!!!" Light falls to the ground in fear "no..I must be dreaming!!" He took a look at his body, noticing his horns, tail, and animal like nose that twitched, his fingers and toes were claw like, Light sighed again "no..no I'm definitely not dreaming, even if I am I can't let my family see me like this!" He ran back to his room, grabbing a beanie, a hoodie, and a pair of baggy jeans "what's with those, Light?" Ryuk cackled "it's to hide myself, I can't let my family see me like this!" Ryuk just laughed, Light growled, quickly changing before heading downstairs

He didn't even have anything for breakfast, he just quickly dashed out the door "what's with the rush?" "Ryuk, I can't let anyone see my face, besides wouldn't you notice someone with fangs and a dog nose? Wouldn't you be throwing out questions?" "You're right, plus people would notice your hands too" "nope, I'm wearing gloves so if nobody asks me to take them off I should be just fine.." he kept his head low, covering his face with his hoodie, Light looked around, noticing the people staring at him "(damnit..I'm in trouble, people are staring at me, I should just ignore them..)" Light kept walking, ignoring everyone staring at him and just headed to class. At school, it was rough, people kept talking about how strange he was acting, not to mention he would quietly growl whenever he smelt something unfamiliar, when he got home, his mother had asked him for his sudden rush, his excuse was he was in a hurry and needed to be there quickly, while talking with his mom he hoped she didn't notice his appearance, which thankfully she didn't. He stayed in his room, only leaving to grab food when hungry, he wondered how'd he get used to his new body and how it worked, he also wondered how it even happened, and what even caused it
