*Hey guys I'm so fucking excited to start this new book! Yeah, I know I have 3 other books I'm still in the process of writing, but this couldn't wait! So like I'm hella hooked on this ship cause its usual...well to me but yeah, the ship is sailed and isn't stopping. So, I decided to write my own and it's gonna be cute a'f!*
Tony's POV
"Jaime I swear to god I'm going to beat your ass if you don't give back my burrito!" He ran around the kitchen table and I was watching his moves to see which was he was going to go. His eyes squinted at me like a cheshire cat and smirked.
"You mean this delicious, oh-so delicious burrito?" My heart trembled as he lowered the burrito closer to his mouth.
"Dammit, you douche nozzle, yes!" He lowered the burrito in his mouth and took it out giving me an evil smile.
"Oh, really?" His eyes looked right into mine and munched right down onto it, devouring half it in one bite. I booked it across the room toward his ready to strangle his neck, I didn't care if we are my best friend. Tony Perry doesn't share food.
"Get your ass back here Preciado!" He was laughing as he ran into the living room while I was hot on his heels. I was so close to catching him by the hem of his shirt until my mom came out of nowhere blocking my path.
"Hijo, qué dije sobre maldiciones, eh? Tu sabes entonces."
Translate: (Son, what did I say about cursing, eh? You know better.)
"Pero mamá, Jamie comió mi burritto y este cuerpo necesita alimento."
Translate: (But mom, Jamie ate my burrito and this body needs food.)
My mom turned towards Jamie looking dumbfounded with a burrito sticking out of his mouth. She walked towards him cupping his cheeks almost dropping it and hugged him. I swear that women loved Jamie more than her own son.
"Hijo, why don't I make up a pot of menudo and your family can come over for dinner tomorrow?" My mom led Jaimie towards me and he gave me a huge smile after taking his last bite. I rolled my eyes and flicked his forehead.
"Hmm, mama Perry you know me in particular, can't say no to your cooking. Plus, I know my mom was making tamales today so we'll bring some."
"Good, now then, I'm going to go run to the store. You boys need anything?" I looked over at Jamie and he shook his head 'no.'
"No mom, were good. We'll be downstairs." We both grabbed our backpacks around the chairs and head down.
"Love you boys, be back soon."
"Love you," Jaime and I said in sync. I was glad to have Jaime in my life, he was like my brother from another mother. He was so close to my mom and I that he really felt like part of the family, well he is family in my book.
Jamie sat down on the couch and rustled through his back pack taking out homework books slamming them down on the coffee table sighing. I picked up the remote turning on the doc station across the room and played some Incubus. It was a bit stuffy in the room so I walked over and opened the sliding glass door. When I looked out the door I smiled as I saw out neighbor Kelly who's 14 and Marcy who's 17 jumping on the trampoline. As I was about to turn around Marcy looked up and jumped to the side close to the fence.
"Hey Tony!" Marcy yelled with both of them smiling.
I returned the favor and waved back, "Hey girls! Having fun?"
"We would if you came over here with us..." Marcy's eyes lingered with mine and I just shook my head smiling, "Maybe next time."
"I'll remember that, Cesar," I winced as she called me my full name and waved walking back into the house.
