Loose Grip- Chapter 2
He was now about five metres from the top,
and it was a full moon so luckily he could see were he was going.
He clipped the rope onto his harness,
took a sip of water and went off again. He was about on metre from the top, but the light from the moon was strong and he couldn't really see.
Then a figure appeared and he let out a sigh of relief, but just then when he thought he had reached the top and completed his goal, the stranger took out a handgun.
His heart began to beat faster and the palms of his hands became sweaty,
which didn't help at all because now his hands were loosing grip on the rocks. He kept a tight grip and his hand reached for the next ledge,
but then the man untied the rope off the metal pole at the tope, making him very unsafe.
The man began to walk back over to the edge of the cliff,
but this time putting the gun back into his jacket.
He then reached for another rock and then grasping it with his hand,
but just at that moment the man stepped on it.
His hand slipped,
leaving one arm to hold himself up,
his legs began flailing,
and his arm weakening,
he now had to use his core muscles to hold himself up,
he wished he had gone to the gym more often now.
He had held himself up for a good four minutes now,
but right at that the man took out his handgun and shot one bullet right threw his head.
The man stepped on the rope, leaving the body hang gradually over the water,
but still metres away from it,
he picked up the rope and gradually tied it to a brick he had taken out of the boot of the car,
he then dropped it into the water.
His body began to fly down taking a couple of minutes for it to drop into the water.
The body dropped into the exact spot were the moon shone on the water showing the blood spilling out of his head.
