a wave of clear water cascades down her face as she slowly pulls herself out of the water and onto the surfboard. he caught sight of her in the corner of his eye and noticed her blue eyes shimmering in the california sunlight, long blonde hair clinging to her body. his heart skips a beat, blood rushing to his cheeks. 'shit, play it off' he whispers to himself and turns the other way, ready to catch the next wave. but little does he know, she noticed his deep brown eyes on her. She, too, felt that rush of electricity through her body. a image flashed in front of her eyes; his soft lips touching hers, his hands gripping her back, whilst hers are running through his brown fluffy hair. she switched back to reality just in time to surf the wave. 'please dont fucking mess this up' she thought to herself, unable to escape the constant urge to lock eyes with him again; to feel that wave of excitement, possibility, electricity. she yearned to get closer to him; his presence was the one and only thing she wanted in that moment. she wished with every single piece of hope she had left, that he felt this burning passion too. and for once, she was right.
