Mini Tsunade

Adoption

She ran. As fast as her legs could carry her. Her assistant Shizune by her side but she didn't care to see. She got word of the attack and her only relative Kushina died. But she has to see for herself. She must see her cousins body herself because she won't believe, no can't believe she is dead. Tsunade Senju, legendary sannin and granddaughter of Hashirama Senju broke down the door to the Hokages office.

"What the fuck happened Hiruzen?!" Tsunade screamed.

"Tsunade... I'm sorry but... something went wrong during the birth so the nine tails broke free and... Kushina is dead." Hiruzen said softly.

Those words rang through her head like a bullet. So for the first time since her lovers death she cried. She didn't stop even when Shizune tried to comfort her. She didn't stop when she fell to her knees. No she only stopped when she heard something cry with her. She turned her head and saw a crib in the room with them. She got up and picked the baby up and it stopped crying and opened it's eyes. A twinge of hope stuck Tsunade as the azure blue eyes looked at her and giggled the cutest laugh in all five nations.

"This is Kushina's girl isn't it?" Tsunade asked softly and smiled.

"Yes she is but she became the nine tails jinchuuriki." Hiruzen said grimly.

Tsunade furrowed her brows "well I will adopt her because their is no way in hell that I'm leaving her here knowing full the life of a jinchuuriki."

"Tsunade are you sure you want.." Hiruzen didn't even get to finish that sentence before Tsunade sent him a glare that basically said 'if you don't let me I will kidnap her and you won't see us again.' "Very well you may take her from the village but please come back when she is twelve so she may be a ninja."

"Sure sensei I'm going to make her strong anyway so she will probably want to be a ninja knowing her parents."

"Yea and I always wanted a little sister."

"Very well so it is decided. Naruto Senju is now the daughter of Tsunade Senju and seeing how you guys look similar it's not a stretch.".

Tsunade smiled at the giggling baby in her arm and promised to her that she will never let harm come to her. Tsunade for the first time since Dan's death had a person to live for and was not going to let her suffer the pain she would have experienced as a jinchuuriki. She didn't want her to be a ninja but as long as she lived no harm would come to her daughter. Yes her daughter, her heir and her life. She will protect this smile at all costs and any who stand in her way can taste her fists.

Hiruzen looked at his student and smiled that she finally has a bright future ahead of her with no more drinking and gambling her life away. Shizune thought something along the same lines while wondering if her little sister would be anything like her mother and silently shivered at the thought of two Tsunades.

"So were will you go?" The ageing Hokage finally said.

"We will go travel around the world as to not look suspicious and to not attract assassins." Tsunade said but knew full well if an assassins tried anything they will be nothing but a bloody pulp once she was done with them.

"Very well now time to find out what to tell the council about the nine tails as naruto's jinchuuriki status hasn't been released yet."

"Tell them the nine tails was sealed in Kushina and dragged to the underworld and won't reform again and bluff to other nations you have a jinchuuriki." And they all nodded in agreement.

So on the day of October 11th the entire world had changed for the better.
