It was a dark, rainy night. The streetlamps and traffic lights were the only souls that lit up the darkness. The homes were quiet. The cars just drove by obliviously. The bank closed up for the night. Behind the building was a small man dressed in all black named Rivers Cuomo. He pushed up his glasses, sneakily crawling onto the roof of the bank.

He lifted the emergency exit hatch and dropped down into the lobby. He located the security system and hacked into it. Immediately, the defenses were disabled. Rivers figured out the combination before entering the giant safe. From there, he pulled a plastic bag out of his jacket's pocket. He began putting stacks of bills in the bag, chuckling to himself.

This was all too easy. He'd planned this out for months on end, and now, he could pay off his debts! Plus, robbing a bank? How cool is that? Little did the male know, he neglected to turn the cameras off. It contacted the police station immediately. Minutes later, the cars arrived on the scene, sirens screaming out.

"Damn it!" The short man growled, desperately looking for a way out. He remembered the emergency exit. He held the bag in his mouth like a dog as he climbed the escape latter. "Police! Come out with your hands up!" One of the officers said on the megaphone. "Over my dead body." Rivers grumbled. Once he was on the ground, he bolted.

A cop stepped out of his car, flipping his long brown hair out of his eyes. On his tag was the name 'B. Bell.' He called, "We got a runner! Officer Bell is in pursuit!" He dashed after the short boy. His long legs made it easy for him to run swiftly. "Damn! Little guy's fast!" He said breathlessly.

Rivers decided to cut through the park, figuring that he'd lose this person by running through the trees. But Bell wasn't giving up. And so their chase continued. Finally, Rivers reached a clearing. At the far edge rested a cliff. He debated jumping off, but it seemed too high. Or maybe he could climb down and make his escape?

While he was figuring out a plan, the cop tackled him down and put him in cuffs. "Ah, hey!" he grunted, "Get off of me, fucking twig!" This only caused the cop to put more of his weight on him. "Can it, rat. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law."  The uniformed man got up, yanking the smaller one up with him.

"Walk." He commanded, straightening his hat. He had a tight grip on Rivers's body, his side pressed up against the latter's own. As the long-haired male spoke into his walkie, Rivers tuned out his voice and took in what he could of his physique. It was quite noteworthy.

A perfect jaw outlined his face, which harbored magnificent hickory brown eyes. They were hidden behind thin rectangular glasses. His hair looked dark and sleek in the moonlight. Veins were prominent mostly in his hands, suggesting that he was pretty damn tough. His grip loosened slightly as he shoved the boy into the car. "I have the criminal with me. I'll meet everyone at the station in a few." He announced.

The other officers got in their cars and drove away. Bell kept a straight stone-faced expression, save for a few close calls with red lights. At one particular light, he sat there and adjusted his badge. Rivers cleared his throat. How can I worm my way out of this one? I know! I can flirt and hopefully he'll go easy.

Rivers repositioned himself comfortably. "Beautiful hair there. Do you use conditioner?" he inquired. No response as the car lurched forward. "Is it true that cops love donuts possibly to the point they'd fuck em?" Again, nothing.

"Look, I'll have you know," he said, "I'm very street famous. Which means people will know I'm missing and will come looking for me! So let me go now and nothing bad will happen!" The threat was merely ignored by Bell, who thought of it as being worth no more than an empty bag of chips.

They eventually arrived at the station. Once the vehicle was parked, the tall male yanked the latter out of the backseat. He escorted him inside the prison, where other officers and criminals stared the boy down in resentment. He was given a uniform, questioned, and thrown into a cell.

"Hey! Let me the hell out!" Rivers howled, rattling the bars with his hands. "Keep it down!" Another inmate warned, "Officer Bell doesn't like when prisoners talk --- !" He was cut off by the police officer in question walking down the hall. "All prisoners will remain SILENT!" He yelled.

Rivers grumbled, "Fuck you, you little baby!" The other inmates gasped. Immediately, the tall man turned around and stalked towards him. He reached in through the bars, grabbing his shirt and yanking him in his direction.

"Listen here, punk! I don't take kindly to inmates with big mouths and foul language! I also don't appreciate any insults. This is your first and final warning. Got it?" He spat, some of the saliva finding its way into his eye. A period of silence. "Yes, sir." Rivers replied.

"Ay yo, Brian!" A voice called down from the hall, "We're going to go out and have a few beers, wanna come?" 'Brian' dropped Rivers and nodded. "You bet! Name your time and I'll be there!" He walked off.

Brian Bell. So that's his name.
