"Khun-saaaan, y-you look really p-pretty tonight."
Bam hiccuped at the end of his sentence, tripping over something non existent and nearly landing flat on his face.
"Oops, I gotcha. Can you pay a bit more attention to where you're going?"
Khun wrapped an arm around Bam's waist and pulled the brunette's arm over his shoulder chuckling at him.
Bam always gets like this when he is drunk.
Red faced, doe eyed, stuttering and hiccupping as he stumbled all over the place.
And of course Khun didn't complain about the compliments his friend would undoubtedly slur at him.
"We're almost home, keep it together okay?"
"P-pretty, Khun-saaan, prettyyyyy."
Khun grinned. It's always worth staying sober just for this. Words that he would never get to hear when his friend is sober. Words that Khun could pretend held far more meaning than just drunken slurs.
The pair stumbled through the streets, Khun holding Bam by the waist as the brunette let out a constant stream of compliments about how pretty his friend is.
It was the same as usual.
When the two reached their shared apartment, Khun fumbled with the key to let them in as Bam took advantage and wrapped his arms around the bluenette's waist, holding him from behind and resting his chin on Khun's shoulder and whining into his ear.
The door finally opened and Khun struggled inside with Bam still latched around his waist.
He chuckled as the door shut behind them and he led them to Bam's bedroom.
"Come on Bam, you should slee-!"
But Khun couldn't finish his sentence As lips brushed his ear and a quiet, husky voice sang sweet words to him.
" So beautiful. "
A shift in the atmosphere and the whisper in his ear sent a shiver down Khun's spine and the heat racing to his cheeks.
"Okay, that's enough."
His stern tone tried to warn Bam.
The brunette hadn't done anything wrong though, he was just being his usual intoxicated self, except the tone of his voice changed, his lips were against Khuns ear and his arms held tighter onto the bluenette as if never wanting to let go.
Khun tried to pull away, the position, the words, Bam's tone, making him think that maybe the brunette meant something more.
But that's impossible.
And there's a limit as to how much Khun would let himself dream.
He attempted to pry Bam's arms from his waist.
"Nooo. Staaay."
Bam whined and complained, huffing in Khun's ear and squeezing the bluenette in his arms.
"Bam, let go."
Khun held onto Bam's wrists and pulled but they just wouldn't budge.
"No! Don't wanna."
"Bam."
He warned the brunette having a tantrum, though the next sentence from Bam's mouth made him freeze.
" No. Mine. "
Khun stopped tugging on the wrists clinging to him and Bam hummed with satisfaction, nuzzling his face into the bluenette's neck and repeating himself.
