When we got back home with Shark he was so happy to explore the new place.

"Wonder what my moms gonna think." Billie said

"Yeah I wonder too- oh shit I haven't talked to my mom in days."I said worriedly.

"Is it that bad that you haven't talked to your mom?" Billie asked confused.

"I mean I'm living in California, without her knowing so yea" I said sarcastically.

"Ok ok call her then miss sarcasm." Billie said laughing.

I rolled my eyes and went in the back to call my mom.

I sat on the bed and dialed her number.

She picked up on the 2nd ring.

"Y/n. M/n. L/n, where the hell are you?" My mom yelled.

"Hello to you too , I'm still with Billie." I told her.

"Well when are you coming home." She asked still slightly angered.

"About that... I'm staying here." I said nervous of her reaction.

"So you're not coming back to Arizona?" She asked.

"I mean I'll come in visit but I'd rather stay here with Billie."

"What happened to liyah?" My mom asked.

"She's dead."

"What!!!"

"I'm just kidding we had a fallout." I said laughing.

"We'll do what makes you happy, call me if you ever need me ok?"

"Yes ma'am I love you." I sis happily.

"I love you too." She said before hanging up.

I breathed a sign of relief and got up and walked back to the living room where Billie and Shark were.

When I walked in I saw Billie sitting on the floor playing with Shark and she looked so happy.

She saw me staring and smiled. She then waved her hand wanting me to come over.

I walked over and sat beside her on the floor.

"Why no sit on the couch?" I asked Billie.

She looked at me and shrugged her shoulders," eh" was all she said.

I laughed and shook my head and started petting Shark.

"What did your mom say?" Billie asked.

"She told me it was ok with her as long as I was happy."

"That's good babe." Billie said kissing my cheek.

I turned my head and kissed her on the lips.

"Needy much." Billie said jokingly.

I laughed along but inside I knew I was needy.

"Wanna go outside boy?." Billie asked Shark in a baby voice.

Shark started wagging his tail fast and jumping up and down.

Billie laughed at that and got up and took him outside.

"Damn will Shark be getting more attention than me?" I asked joking.

"Oh shut up." Billie said laughing.
