14 : Dwarfed

If you're reading this then you've read chapter 13. You'll notice that  the bottom of that chapter is also what you'll be reading below. It's because I'm going to try to shorten the chapters a little, and that will just mean there will be more chapters in the book as a whole. Hope this might make it slightly easier to read, I don't know if it will. Thanks!

Rosetta's POV

I got excited as the claw dragged 1 adorable seahorse, and 1 tiger plushie over to the drop zone.

I grinned like a little kid when they both made it. I got 2!!

I bent down to grab them excitedly when my butt made contact with something. I stopped for a moment, before realizing he was still behind me. I instantly stood straight, a dark red blush coating my whole face and down to my neck. I could feel it spreading further with my embarrassment.

I stepped out of his arms, again reaching down to get my stuffies, this time, my toosh not making contact with anything.

I stood up once more and then turned around taking the step back towards him. His frame engulfed mine. You wouldn't be able to see me at all if you were standing behind him.

"Love?" his voice was gravely.

I didn't really want to talk after our previous encounter a moment ago, but I murmured a quiet 'hmm?' at him.

"Your tickets"

I was confused. What tickets? I turned around, looking at the machine, to see it had spit out tickets. How nice of it😉.

I counted 10, and smiled. Does this mean there are prizes too? I began feeling a LITTLE giddy.

"Come"

He picked me up, and I looked around curiously. I trusted him, but where were we going? Are we going to the next floor now?

He stopped at a big metal slate thing that had different door things on it.

"Here, feed your tickets in there and wait"

I did as he said, a little scared of the contraption.

Some small prized appeared on the table, with a big neon sign saying 'Choose only 1, then back away. Do as I say or they will be taken away'

Some candy and a couple childish prized appeared. I chose a yellow starburst, my favorite.

I turned back around ready to leave, about to unwrap my yummy treat. But was turned back around, with a weight now on my hips. I frowned confused, but leaned into his touch. He was so comfortable. His arms that engulfed me were really cozy. That's weird speaking of the King that way, but they really were. And his humongous hands almost dwarfed my hips and waist, even with me having wide set hips.

The neon sign changed, saying 'Choose 1 more, then you are free to go explore'

All of the items went away but the candy.

I chose me a red one, my second favorite. I smiled to myself, beginning to unwrap the yellow one. I don't like eating them, I suck on them till it's a small flattened piece, then I eat it.

I looked up to see him watching me intently with a small smile on his lips.

I blushed and look down.

"C'mere"

His voice was deep, almost...sexy...

I took a couple steps towards him.
