Ginny's POV:
I finished eating my food and got up and went to the hallway. I see Abby walking down my way. She has red and puffy eyes. Is she okay? I was about to ask if she's okay but she walked past me giving me a look. What's wrong with her? Why is everyone mad at me? It's not my fault. Abby told me not to tell anyone because Max is going through a hard time with her breakup. I walked to my next class and acted like nothing happened earlier. I could care less about her honestly.
-After school-
I walked into my house not seeing my mom or Austin anywhere. She's probably picking up Austin from school. It's my chance to have her not bother me. I went upstairs to my room and started playing the piano my dad gave me for my birthday. I hear a knock on my window and saw Marcus. I smiled and opened the window for him to come in.
"Hey what are you doing here?" I smiled with surprise. "Oh, I thought I'd see you. You didn't look so happy today so maybe I can cheer you up" He says giving me a hug. I hugged him back and couldn't stop smiling. I really needed a hug. The only person who gave me one is Marcus. I can't hug my mom. She just, I can't even look at her face anymore. I pulled away from the hug. "So what you up to?" He says sitting on my bed. "I was just playing the piano. There's nothing to do especially since the MANG group is kinda broken" I sat down on my chair facing Marcus. "Max will come around trust me. Her dumb breakup just hasn't got out of her system I guess" he rolls his eyes. I nod with a small smile. For a few hours, we talked about literally random things. I heard the door knock and I quickly opened the window letting Marcus get out of my room. I closed the window and sat down on my bed and opened my books making it seem like I'm doing school. I don't think I have any homework today. Well, I think. "Come in," I say and took out a pencil. I see my mom walking in. "What do you want to eat for dinner?" she asked standing by the door with her wine. "Uh, I don't know why are you asking me?" "I thought I could make something you want but since you're acting like a brat then maybe I shouldn't bother asking" "I am not!" I yelled slamming the door. I can't deal with her bullshit. Why can't she just let me be? Screw her.
Marcus's POV:
I climb out the window quickly and jumped down and landed on the floor. I climb back up to my room and slowly opening my window trying to be quiet. I went into my room and closed my window. I turn around and sees my mom standing at my door. Here we go again. She's going to lecture me about sneaking out and shit then saying I'm grounded. And for what reason? I don't know. She's no fun. "Where did you go?" I looked at her with no response. If she finds out I went to Ginny's room, she's going to murder me. "Are you going to tell me or not?" she says with her mad face. I stood there not answering her again. I don't care if I get grounded. It's not the first time and it's not the last either. "You're grounded" No response. I kept standing there not saying a single word like always. What is there to say? I can't do anything about it. Convincing won't help. "Screw this. Either way, you're grounded." she gives me a serious look and closes the door. I jumped on my bed and took my sketchbook and starting sketching. All of a sudden I hear Max yelling. I put my sketchbook on my bed and walked over to Max's room. "Can you be quiet?" I asked seeing Max on her phone and Norah watching her talking. Max's eyes are red. Is she crying? "Hold on one second" Max mutes herself on the call and looks over at me with a mad face. That's not good. "What Marcus? It's not like you're doing anything. You do nothing but smoke weed. All you do is lay around smoking in your room. You don't need quiet. I'm trying to talk to Sophie right now so can you leave me alone?" I looked at her with a confused look. She's talking to Sophie? Seems more like her yelling at her for breaking up with her. Or asking her why she broke up with her. Honestly, this whole breakup thing is getting to her too much. "It's not like she's going to tell you why she broke up with you. Just accept the fact that she doesn't want to be with you. Now can you speak more quietly when you're on the phone? It's really disturbing." I rolled my eyes. She gives me a glare and closes the door. I walked back to my room closing my door. I opened my window and starts smoking to get my mind off of things. I looked over at Ginny's room seeing her doing her homework. For the rest of the night, I sketched and smoke to keep all this dumb drama off my mind. Today wasn't the best day but it wasn't the worst. All this drama is bullshit honestly. Max is being dramatic and not understanding and of course, as usual, she's acting like a brat.
