Chapter 1: Pair of socks

Narrator's POV

They wore blacks clothes, black masks, their eyes were red. They walked one by one in the black smoke... the DVs..

"Now where are my socks? Huh?!" Gai wondered, as he was looking for his socks. He kept looking at the door, just in case no one barges in his room like every time, right then, Liu knocked on the door.. 

knock knock knock!

"Gai, just in case your finding your socks, we made Lonky do the laundry yesturday, since you were away." Liu informed Gai "Shoot! Now what!? They were my last pair dude!" Gai yelled "Well, the next time it's your laundry turn, don't sneak out!" Stating this, Liu left. "Yeah yeah, whatever" said Gai. Yes, we all know how stupid Lonky is, but that doesn't mean that he isn't smart at all.. he's the mother of the Running Man society, he knows how to cook, clean mess, do the laundry, wash the dishes and every single house chores! But of course, that doesn't mean he'll be the only one doing it. So, he made a whole schedule on who has to do the work depending on the week. But sometimes, the Running Men go for parties, or out on adventures or any reason that makes them skip their house chores, Lonky is responsible (yeah, cause he's never busy 🤪 ) So, as a revenge of skipping their chores, he makes it more worse. He hides their clothes, breaks their plate, or rather put their rooms in a complete mess. ~Punishment is important 🤷‍♀️

"LONKY!?!" Gai yelled in anger as he was walking through the hallways looking for Lonky. "What now?" Miyo said, as she was passing by "Too concerned about me, aren't you? Well, Liu made Lonky do the laundery in place of me, and he hid the last pair of socks I had. So, I'l just roaming barefoot until I find my socks." He explained as Miyo looked down at his feet "Hmm? Why do you have to roam barefoot? Couldn't you just wear your shoes without the socks, it isn't a big deal." Miyo stated 

"Hell nah, now way! That ain't possible!"

"Why?"

Gai facepalmed, then looked at Miyo and said

"When I was young, I used to go to a Monk school, they educate us about the culture of our tribe. We've always learnt that you should wear socks with your shoes because your feet might not be clean, as your shoes protect your feet from any damage that could happen, you should pay respect to your shoes and wear socks, if you don't wear your socks, you can't wear your shoes either." 

"Wow, ok.. I guess.. I never went to any cultural school, even though we have some culture but they aren't much of followed.." Miyo said, "I've been wearing heels my whole life.." 

"Ok, now can you tell me where the heck is Lonky so I can find my socks?" 

She laughed, "Sure, he's probably gone to the grocery store to get some stuff. I'll help you find your pair of socks before he reaches back home and make a huge deal out of it.."
