POV: Destiny
Today I was walking to school repeating the same routine since August. It wasn't tiring but just wasn't interesting to me.
I went to first period, and took my seat in the back corner of the class waiting for the students to come in then the teacher to take attendance.
So as that was happening it started to rain and thunder outside and the window were getting super cold. I wonder if they were gonna let us leave early because of the weather, anything to leave. Your probably wondering why I don't just skip, see I would but I'm too much of a good girl to do that.
I sat back in my chair zoning out everything happening.
POV: Shawn
I walked into school with my only bro's Cameron and DeMarcus. They helped me get me get in and take my schedule since this was the first day I was starting actual school.
On my way to first period I dapped up Cameron and DeMarcus as we went out separate ways. I step in the class going straight to the teacher as I got looks from kids weird.
"Uh hey my name's Shawn, where do I sit Mr. Level" I said
"Ooh nice to meet you Shawn, and you can take a seat in the back next to Destiny while I take attendance" he said
"Uh who's Destiny" I asked clueless of who she was.
"Destiny raise your hand" he called out
"There she is now go" he said
"Alright" I said and went to go take my seat next to this girl. She looks mysterious, and I wanna know her secrets. I took this opportunity to scan her.
Finding out her full name is Destiny Stewart, she's 17, and lives with her mother and brother.
Before I could get any more information, I was interrupted by some thot coming up to me twirling her hair.
"Hello handsome, what are you doing over here" she said
"Living" I said not trying to talk to her
"Well why don't you come live over there with me"
"Nah I'm good, I don't do wild cats who live with roaches" I said and all she could do was walk away.
I noticed the weather outside kept getting heavier, why of all days does it have to rain.
Destiny was still next to me in her own world. I decided to turn and talk to her.
"Hey Destiny, how are you"
She look up from her desk and said " I'm fine"
"What's bothering you" I asked know no girl is fine when they say that
"Umm life"
"What about it" I said
"Are you trying to interrogate me"
"No I'm just trying to get to know you"
"Why would you like to know me" she said looking down
"Want me to he honest" I asked and she nodded
"Well you just seem mysterious, and something about that I just like and want to know more" I said.
"Hmmm maybe, but on one condition"she said
"Sure what is it"
"You have to promise not to leave me" she said
"That's it" I said shocked
"Are you gonna accept the promise or not and I need your pinky to confirm" Destiny said with her pinky finger out
"Alright I promise not to leave you Destiny" I said as my pinky finger wrapped around hers not knowing what I was getting into.
