Twelve and you're suddenly gone. Tears are flowing down my cheeks after I realized you're really not coming back after not seeing me for three months straight.

Just like that, you left me. You're gone. And I despise you. But I love you.

You broke your promise but I miss you. You're a liar but I'm hoping to see you again.

Fifteen and I'm staring at my last view of the sunset in the beach. We're leaving. We are to live abroad and leave our house near the beach where I met the wonderful mermaid.

Mermaid. That's what they call creatures like you. The funny thing is that, for the years I shared with you, I never even got to know your name. How unfair.

"Let's go, Sasha..." My mom called.

"Yes, My." I said and sat on the white sand for the last time.

I dug the sand. Just enough for the necklace with pink pearl to be burried. He gave me two pink pearls. I made my dad to craft it as necklace. Now I have two necklace with pink pearl as pendant to it. I'm gonna give the other to the original owner and I'll keep the other to myself.

I remember telling him I'll wish to forget him but no. I'll always remember the mermaid who taught me to see difference in different view. He was my mentor to reality. He was wonderful. And I don't think I could even forget such a wonderfully made creature. The pearl necklace will be him. He'll be with me till I grow old and I become part of the ground. I'll always wear him.

One last look to the sea and I thought I saw him peeking at me through the big stone on the shore.

I smiled sadly. But that's impossible. I turned my back at the sunset as tears started falling on my eyes.

I miss you so much...
