“Name?” Jimmy asked.
Joaquin and Catherine were sitting in front of her brother, as he was holding a small notebook that he normally used to write down everything he gets out of her partners. Catherine’s heartbeat started to quicken up, with every passing second of the silence that was surrounding them like a blanket. Joaquin was bouncing his leg up and down with dread, sweat was forming in his forehead as he tried not to look directly at her brother’s eyes. Jimmy’s eyes were a void of emotions, that Joaquin could not place his finger in solemnly one. He has never felt such an enormous amount of fright in his entire existence. He rubbed down his hands on his pants trying to get rid of the wetness in the palms of his hands that were formed thanks to his anxious sentiment. Catherine had one of her fingers intertwined around his thumb, trying to simmer down his thoughts.
“Joaquin Torres.” his voice was full of fear, and distressed.
“Job?”
“Air force.” Jimmy wrote down with a nod. Neither Joaquin and Catherine knew of what was passing through her brother's heads.
“How long have you been with my sister?”
“Almost two weeks of relationship.” Joaquin turned to look at his girlfriend with a pleading look, he was becoming more agitated with every question. Catherine noticing the more tense jaw of Joaquin, tried to calm him down by placing a kiss on his jaw. Jimmy took notice of the small gesture and how it calmed down her boyfriend’s emotion.
“Alright, how did you two meet?”
“I saved her back in one of her trips from a dangerous organization.” Jimmy had no emotions in his face.
“And you think just because you saved her life, you are good enough for her?” Catherine glared at her brother, while Olive hissed at Jimmy.
“Jimmy,” She hissed at her brother
“I know. I get it, I am not good enough for her.” Catherine’s head turned to look at her boyfriend in disbelief. But her expression changed soon after he let out the next words. “But I know that what I feel for her could be more than enough for now, this might be too early but what I feel is love for her. I am in love with your sister.”
Both of the Woo sibling’s faces were priceless. Catherine was a blushing mess with her heart filled with love and happiness.
“I see,” Jimmy took a pause, looking between the couple, “Have you watched Descendants of the sun?”
“No.”
“Goblin? “
“No.”
“He is no good, Cat.” Catherine took notice of the teasing tone in his voice, this made her know he approved. Letting out a squeal she threw herself at Joaquin, pulling him into a surprise kiss, which he quickly melted into. Jimmy was long forgotten. Their thoughts were filled with love thoughts, and had an ecstatic feeling inside of them.
Jimmy was just there, not knowing what to do, or if he had to do something. Having enough of this sappy moment, Jimmy cleared his throat catching their attention, they reluctantly moved away from each other. Both of their faces had a goofy smiles, the couple now with the approval of her brother, could finally take more steps in their relationship/
“I know I give you two permission to date each other, however, I don’t want to be a witness to all the happiness you two carry around.” While Joaquin blushed, Catherine just stuck her tongue out at her brother.
“But let me tell you something, Torres.” This gained the attention of the couple, as they both seated straight, ‘I have to warn you, I am not the only one you have to be cautious about, it's her friend.”
“I don’t know what you talking about, Jimmy. Arabella is a sweetheart.” Jimmy leaned in forward, his eyes narrowed and his arms crossed in front of his chest..
“She is a devil, don’t let her look dismiss you.”
“Jimmy!”
“What I am saying the true!” Jimmy defended his previous statements. Joaquin could only watch at their small sibling argument with small smile. Olive was right beside him on the table, curled up in a ball watching the same thing as his future cat father. Joaquin was glad that Jimmy accepted their love and relationship.
He was glad he accepted their innocent love.
I have come to a sad conclusion, of cutting this fanfiction shorter than intended to be. I will be updating the story tomorrow or today the epilogue. And that is it for Viridity.
I know, I know. The fanfiction was short, but it was sweet, don't forget that I will have my other fanfictions of the saga mentioning Catherine.
