The Bakugo's (Todo x Deku) (Baku x Kiri)

Chapter 8

(Izuku POV)

I forgot I was wearing it. Kiri follows Kacchan leaving Shoto and me alone. I scoot up on the bed and lean against the wall. Shoto sits next to me and I lay my head on his shoulder sighing. He takes his mobile out of his pocket and a set of earphones. He put one in and handed me the other. I smile at him and put it in my ear resting my head on his shoulder again. He clicks on his Netflix app and puts on Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. I laugh into his shoulder and I feel him lay his head on top of mine and he props up the mobile on his legs. He puts the arm that's next to me over my back hugging me and I smile and blush. I can't really focus on the anime as all I'm thinking about is how good it feels as his hand rubs my back. I take a deep breath in and smell a peppermint scent.

About thirty minutes later Kacchan and Kiri come in with some onigiri. We all sit on the floor and eat while we chat. Kacchan puts on Demon Slayer anime and we watch that. Kacchan and Kiri cuddle up on the bed and Shoto and I sit on the floor next to each other. As we are watching it Shoto's hand slides over to mine on the floor so our fingers are touching. I glance down at my hand and grab his hand sliding my fingers between his. I feel a hand in my head and look straight up to see Kacchan and Kiri with their thumbs up looking at our hands. I smile back at them and notice Shoto looking at us.

"How long have you two been dating," Shoto asks Kacchan and Kiri. I think that with everything that was going on with me they forgot they were hiding their relationship but it was clear as day as Kiri was laying on Kacchan's chest as Kacchan played with Kiri's hair. They both blush, making us laugh.

"About 5 months now," Kacchan said, smiling as he glanced at Kiri. They must be really comfortable around Shoto, otherwise, they wouldn't have let their guard down.

Just after 5: 30 we all start getting hungry again and decide we can't just stay in here forever. So we all head to dinner. We walk into the kitchen and Kacchan starts cooking as we all talk about Demon Slayer. Kiri, Shoto, and I stand to the side as Kacchan cooks and within fifteen minutes we head into the dining room. I see Iida, Tsu, and Uraraka sitting eating at one of the tables and I begin to tense up. Kiri and Kacchan sit at the nearest table and I sit next to Kacchan with Shoto on my other side. I feel safe sandwiched in between them. The four of us continue our conversation but I can feel her watching me. Shoto nudges my elbow and smiles at me. I smiled back, it was like he could read my mind and knew exactly what to do to ease my nerves.

We cleaned up our dishes and were heading back to the dorm when Tsu and Uraraka came up to us. Kacchan and Shoto stood on either side of me and Kiri was behind me. I smiled at the girls as they looked at me. We all just stood there awkwardly for a moment.

"Midoriya can I talk to you for a moment? Ribbit." Tsu asked me. I felt my face flush and my nerves start as I slowly walked with her. Uraraka stayed with Shoto and the others. They watched me closely as we stepped away. Once we were out of earshot Tsu stopped and faced me.

"I..I..is everything ok Tsu?" I stammered. She smiled at me.

"Sorry, Midoriya I just wanted to prove a point. And to give you a heads up. I think Uraraka is jealous of you and Shoto's friendship. But please don't tell her I said that. Ribbit. I'm sorry for the way she has been acting." Tsu said, glancing back at her. Uraraka looked at me with crossed arms frowning.

"Thanks, Tsu," I said as we walked back over.

"So Midoriya, where did you two run off to this morning?" Uraraka asked, Tsu, scowled at her.

"Oh we just went a walk to one of the cafes, I really fancied some peppermint creams and they have the best ones," I said smiling sweetly. She seemed to buy it as she nodded as Tsu pulled her away.
