Parents (Lan SiZhui x Wei WuXian)

SiZhui was bored and picking at pieces of grass while watching the bunnies hop and play around with each other, he smirked slightly and looked over seeing Wei WuXian walk over towards him, his hair flowing in the wind the red ribbon following behind as well; "what are you doing?" Wei WuXian led a small smile and sat down with SiZhui slowly; Lan SiZhui just shrugged "nothing just.. bored I guess" he shrugged again and smiled, he looked over at Wei WuXian who was staring at the sky, he caught Lan SiZhui's stare and cupped his face with one hand "you're just like HanGuang-Jun" he smiled again and Lan SiZhui blushed a bit and giggled; "you're funny.." he whispered to himself "...mother"

Wei WuXian was able to hear the words faintly and he smiled again "when you were little me and Lan Zhan always took you into a field of flowers, we would let you run around to tire yourself out, we let our horses roam freely like wild stallions, when you were tired I would hold you close and you fell asleep always in my arms but never Lan Zhan's. He was your favorite during the day but I was yours always at night" Wei WuXian smiled again and saw Lan SiZhui lean in and lay on his lap, Wei WuXian ran his fingers through SiZhui's hair gently grazing his cheek and brow, he took in a deep breath and looked at the sky again "SiZhui?" "Hmmm" Wei WuXian took in a deep breath "let's go to the field today?" SiZhui turned to look up at the young man and quickly nodded, he got up quickly and went towards his horse, Lan WangJi saw both men grab their horses and rode off into the fields, Lan WangJi smiled and he went to grab his and he rode off towards them as well.

All three men rode together into a field of wild flowers, the smell of the beauty the Earth had to offer was nice and soothing, Lan WangJi got off his horse and helped his wife slowly, Lan SiZhui watched in awe and finally got off himself, they all removed the saddles of their horses, automatically both Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi's horses knew where they were and they rode off together running around with a free spirit, Lan SiZhui's horse stayed by his side for a second until he walked off to go do his own things. Wei WuXian was sitting in the field of flowers in between Lan WangJi's legs "Hanguang-Jun?" "Hm?" Wei WuXian looked up at his husband and gave him a soft kiss. They both enjoyed each other's company and SiZhui's as well, the men stared off in the distance and suddenly they both had the same flashback.

A Yuan was running around the field with his little legs ready to give out, he ran towards his parents and hugged onto them tightly and happily, his hair was a mess as always and Lan WangJi smiled only slightly as Wei WuXian undid the boys hair and used the piece of red ribbon to fix it, "be careful A Yuan please" Wei WuXian hugged the little boy a bit "I will be mama!" Wei WuXian let him go and he immediately ran off again happily, both the horses were roaming freely side by side each other as well keeping an eye on their owners and the small boy. Lan WangJi held his husband close to him and it was obvious Wei WuXian was getting tired, he ready to leave but he wanted his child to have fun. A Yuan suddenly returned with a bunch of flowers he could hold in both hands, he saw his mother was slowly falling asleep and he sat the flowers down next to his father and crawled to lay in Wei WuXian's arms and he grabbed his fingers and held them.

Suddenly their flashback ended and Lan WangJi gave off a small smile "I still have those small flowers, they are obviously dead but they were kept in an empty jar of Emperors Smile" the wind blew and Lan WangJi looked down and saw his wife was asleep on his chest, he smiled again never showing this much emotion, he kissed his wife lovingly and just watched as their son roamed the fields again as he always did 13 years ago.
