chapter one

y/n's pov

Its my first day and I'm already going to be late. I woke up 30 minutes late because i forgot to turn on my alarm. I got up running getting my outfit and running to go take a shower since I finished my school bag last night. while I was showering I hear the door bell ring. I got out of the shower soaking wet, I wrapped the towel around me and went down to see who's at the door... anddddd it's ace, I froze and didn't know what to do until he broke the silence. "I tought that since you will be joining our school I tought that I will pick you up, only if you want" he said. "umm y-y-yea sure just let me get ready. c-come in" omg did I really shutter, shit. "yea sure I'll wait down here" he said. "you can come up to my room if you want so you don't stay alone, only if you want tho" I said. which was a really dumb thing to say since I need to change my clothes. "oh um y-yea sure, lead the way" he said.

ace's pov.

I got up 15 minutes before my alarm goes off which is great since I wanted to go to y/n's house to pick her. I picked my clothes that I hope y/n will like cause I want to make a good first impression on her cause I really wanna get to know her. I took a quick shower, dress, did my hair and put a little of my favorite perfume to smell good.

ace's outfit

when I got out I crossed the road since she lives in front of me and I rang the doorbell hoping she will open the door. I was thinking that she already left but thankfully she hasn't left but when she opened the door she was only with her towel rapped around her thinking that she just got out of the shower which was really hot. she kept looking at me and I decided to break the silence. "since it's your first day I wanted to maybe pick you up only if you wanted" I said. "umm y-yea sure come in" she said. Did she just shutter? cute. "yea sure I'll wait down here" I said. "you can come up to my room if you want so you don't have to stay here alone" she said. "oh y-yea um lead the way" I said. WHY DID I JUST SHUTTER SHE'S MAKING ME GO CRAZY.

a few minutes later...

y/n's pov

I hope he likes my outfit. when I came out I saw him looking me up and down which I guess he liked my outfit I thought tho so I hope he really does. "o-oh wow u-um you l-look really good y/n" he said shuttering which was really cute. "thank , you look good yourself too" I said flashing him a bright smile. "so um I don't wanna be late on my first day so we better get going" I said when I saw that the time was passing. "oh yea sure let's go, wanna go with my car or walking" he said. "I don't mind walking but since the weather is changing all the time lets take the car" I said. "yea sure lets go" he said showing me his cute smile.

the drive was a little silent so I was thinking to myself about how I think my first day is going to be, if I get treated well and if I get along with the other student which I hope I will cause I want some new friends.

when we got the school he parked in the school's parking and when they saw me coming out of ace car I felt like all eyes where on me and i was panicking and tought that im already the center of attention. ace locked the car and came near me. I jumped when I felt his hand on my waist. I jumped cause I didn't expect him to do that if front of half the school. "this always happens lets go" he whispered from behind my ear which sent shivers down my spine. "Ohh ok..um what do you mean by this always happens" i said worrying that hes going to get angry at me for asking him. "Oh nothing big to worry about but im kinda the popular kid here and when they see me with a girl they start talking..but I won't let them do nothing to you so you dont have to worry" he said and i felt my heart flutter when he said that he'll protect me. "Can you show me where the principal's office is cause i need to pick up my timetable" i said. "Yea sure of course,follow me" he said with no hesitation even when his class already started.
When we made it there the principal greated me into his office to give me my schedule for the scholastic year. When we went out ace grabbed my schedule to see if i have any classes with him. "LETS GOOO we have the same classes" he said jumping and then out of the blue he hugged me...i was surprised at first but then i hugged him back. His perfume smelled so good. He pulled away fast when he noticed what he did. "Oh um im sorry i didn't mean to..um do that" he said while rubbing the back of his neck. "Dont worry it all good, so what is our first period?" I said when i noticed that we're 20 minutes late to class already. "We have english first so lets go cause the professor can be bitchy sometimes" he said making me laugh. When we went in the professor invited me up front to introduce myself which i'm not really good at since i'm shy.
" let's welcome y/n , a new student in out class" he said giving me a smile. "um hey my name is y/n s/n, i'm from Australia and im 17 years old. I hope we can get along" i said flashing the a big and nervous smile.

the day was pretty normal always the same routine with all the lesson. i met some of ace's friends and they seem really nice. when school finished he offered me a ride back home and since i didnt want to walk back home i said yes. the ride back wasn't as silent as it was this morning, we talked about how my first day went mostly. when we got back home he came around the car and like the gentleman he is, he opened the door for me and when i got out I hugged him

"thanks for the ride I had a lot of fun" i say a little nervous. "yea of course, it's nothing" he said smiling. when he was walking away a call his name. "HEY ACE WAIT" I scream and go running to him. "yeaa what?" he said looking back. "do you maybe wanna come over to do our work together?" I say with a nervous laughter. "oh y-yea um.. sure just let me grab my stuff" he said walking back to his house. when he went in i jumped with happiness and i know that i started talking to him this morning but the way he acts around me is just to adorable to not like it.

ace's pov

as i'm about to go back to my house y/n screams my name."HEY ACE WAIT" she said screaming while running to me. "yeaa what?" i say a little shocked. "do you maybe wanna come over to do our work together?" she said with a nervous laughter. i tell that i need to get my stuff from my house. when i went in i was y/n jumping and her just being her cute self.

y/n's pov

after a minute he came out with his math books running back to me. i opened the door and we went inside i lead the way upstairs and i didn't notice that i grabbed him hand while we were running upstairs. i noticed that he intertwined his fingers with mine which gave my butterflies. when we went up to my room nothing new happened just focusing on school and working together. he was trying to make a small move with my but i didn't know of he was trying to comfort me or make a type of sign but he put his hand on my thigh caressing it which made my heart flutter. we noticed hours passed and it was getting late so when he was about to leave i got up and he hugged me tight and i dont know what it was, if it was a kiss on the cheek or nothing.
