The wind blew steadily from the north, Issu let her golden hair down to feel it gently caressing her back . She looked around seeing nothing but the plains that she had live in all her life. A dull life ,one with no adventure or danger just the constant wind and the sea of grass. The dull glow of the moon lit her way back to the caravan, she quickly tied her hair back as she saw her mother waving for her to hurry. "Where have you been child? we're leaving now, go get your things!", her mother said with a harsh tone, "wondering about without an escort." Oh mother I’m fine why must you worry so?" replied Issu flush with the rush to pack. "You tell me how you would act if your only child was wondering about at this hour alone?", Issu just looked at her mother and got into the back of the wagon, her mother went on mumbling till the crack of the whip sent them on their way. Looking to the sky Issu wondered if her life would always be so calm, the wind and the constant sound of the wheels was her lullaby, she folded her arms and fell asleep.

Issu awoke midmorning the next day, quite stiff from sleeping on the wooden planks. She stretched her arms out wide and began to rub her legs to get some feeling back into them. It was foggy to where you couldn't even see two feet in front of you, "we must be near the Muriz Lake" she whispered, bringing her legs up to her chest to guard herself against the chill. The wagon rocked as it left the dirt and onto the stone road , then Issu spotted a glimmer of silver and blue her hearted skipped a beat as more of the lake became visible. Large trees began to grow up and around it showing beautiful colors of pale blues to glowing yellow leaves, the roots of the trunks look like massive arms reaching out to the water which sparkled with an pale glow. They traveled all day along the shoreline "We're stopping here for the night, " her father called out as the horses began to slow. Issu jumped out the back and began setting up camp, "Issu, honey can you get some wood to start the fire with?" her mother said tiredly as she sat down. "Of course" she said as she helped her father water the horses.

Grabbing herself a lamp she headed to the shadows of the forest. Darkness closed in around her ,only the orange glow of the lamp could be seen , the sky was covered in a blanket of dark clouds, which threatened to release their tears.  Picking up small branches she began to tuck them under her arm, Issu went on like this till her arms were full humming "Upon the lips of love sang the curse of hate", as she sung these words a lute met her in response playing beautifully. Issu turned to where she thought the sound was coming from and followed it all the while singing " joyful dancing on broken graves, singing sweetly of long ago days" Issu stopped as the lute became louder and  sang the last line " daughter of chaos chained and crazed never to see the light of day" a woman's voice called out to Issu, "you have such a soothing voice to sing something so wicked, where did you hear something so dark" , Issu walked closer lamp held high and she saw a woman cloaked in black sitting among the lower branches. " I don't know miss. always have " Issu replied shaking with fear, backing up as the woman lifted the lute to her lips.

The woman's hand were green and oddly thin. She stopped playing and then looked at Issu with glowing yellow eyes from under her hood. "Hasn't anyone told you not to wonder off by yourself?", Dropping the wood Issu ran through the dense brush and forest trying not to loose the lamp while trying to escape. The Lady sat and watched the young girl run away, a wicked grin on her face. "i should get  a fair price for her ", she said as she lifted herself up and charged after the girl.

Issu felt the forest close in on her, it's once graceful branches now seemed threatening. She stopped to catch her breath, she heard a rustle behind and began running again .As she ran round around a tree the Woman was there sitting on a root tapping her foot, "what took you so long?" and gave a small laugh "Ready to go little girl?" The Woman floated above Issu, dark robes flying around her revealing its body. It had long thin limbs with a green skin tone, her hair was long and midnight blue with silver streaks in it, long razor nails and large pointed ears and her face was normal except for those eyes. Issu fell back and blackout from the shock and fear, The green hag picked the young girl up and headed to the north towards the snow peaks all the while singing the girl's song.
