I hopped out of the large white mini van, that Alissa had convinced her mom to let us take for the month. It had not been easy of course, convincing her to let four college girls to take her only car for a month just to go to flordia. "Oh my gosh we are going to have so much fun." Lisa says coming up next to me, as she put her right arm around my waist. I rolled my eyes playfully but that still earned me a slap in the arm, "You agreed you wanted to actually have fun this summer. So just let loose damn it." Lisa says narrowig her dark brown eyes at my light icey blue ones. "I know and I want to." I tell her. Lisa lifts her chin "You mean and you will." she corrects me, which makes Tabitha laugh as she steps out of the passanger side. "Okay here is our key card." Alissa says walking up to us, with a tall muscular guy following her. The guy wore a light green shirt with kacki shorts and white vans, he had black hair that neatly swept across his forehead and was messy everywhere else and looked as if he were around his early twenties. "Hi I am Mark, I will be taking your bags and showing you to your room." he says in a deep voice and smiles. Mark sits all of our bags on a golden towing thing, and leads us up to the fifth floor of the hotel. The hotel was large, blue, pink and white colors everywhere, and in the middle of everything was a large pool. "Here you are 309." Mark says as Alissa hands him a twenty dollar bill, which makes his eyes light up and sparkle from excitement before he walks off. "I'm guessig he has never gotten a tip that big before. " I say as we all laugh, walking into our room. There were two big beds on either side of the room, in between both beds were two nightstands with a lamp on each and a charging phone station and a t.v remote on one of them. In front of the beds sat a large flat screen t.v on the wall, and a mini fridge beside it. We walked around the other side of the hotel room to find a small kitchen, and large fride, and one large bathroom. "This is one fancy hotel." Tabitha mumbles under her breath, I can't really blame her for thinking so. Tabitha has never gone on a vacation, let alone stayed in any hotel room, unless you count the hospital she was born at which she does. Alissa, Lisa and I all look at each other with a small smile on our faces, stiffling back a laugh. "Chels what bed do you want?" Alissa says breaking the silence. "Why do I get to choose first?" "Uh duh because you are the guest of honor, for this very fine summer." she says in a fake british accent. I know I told everyone that I wanted to do this summer differently and have fun, but I wish they would stop remiding me of what I said every five minutes. "Lisa and I can take the bed near the window." I say giving in anyways. Mainly because I know if I protested they would all call me out. "Great, now next order on the list. Dinner?" Lisa says looking at everyone, then we all shouted out at the same time "PIZZA!" Lisa did the call for pizza hut, as we all sat down on the bed and picked out a movie. We all finally decided on shadow hunters, the mortal instruments, which I couldn't be happier because it was my favorite. After we ate and finished up our movie, as if on que their was a loud splash outside in the pool. Along with what sounded like a thousand young adults yelling and sreaming, we all got up off the beds and looked out the window, to see people swimming in the pool, playing chicken fight, music barring through the large speakers on the wall, and some drinking on the sides with their groups of friends. "Alright our first order of fun has arrived." Alissa says as she claps her hands "Come on girls get ready." and narrows her eyes towars me, making me turn to my bag and put on my bakinni. "This looks awsome." Tabitha says in a small like child voice. We all exchange a glance before grabbing each other's hands and jumping into the pool as a large splash comes from it. I dunk my head under the water one more time, my beach blone hair now fully soaked. The wetness from the water making my hair turn a light brown color. We all splashed around in the pool for a while before stepping out, my dark blue and brown bakini dripping with water. I stumbled along the way to the drinks, trying to despratly get my hair out of my face as I bumped into a large hard shoulder. "I am so sorry." I say not able to see the person, the person took my hair and moved it out from my eyes as they carefully place it tucked behind my ears. "Its quite alright." the guy says in a deep british accent. The guy had jet black hair, curly, and neatly swept across his head, with dark deep green eyes. "My name is Jace." he says holding his hand out, with a large smile on his face, dimples on either sided of his cheeks. "I am Chelsea." I say shaking his hand, our gaze holding onto each other for what felt like hours. What snapped us out of that trance was a small, girl with long curls red hair and brown eyes yelling "Jace baby, where is my drink!" Jaces face turns bright red, and the girl makes her way over to us. She looks up at Jace but then swiftly moves her brown eyes over to me. She gave me a look of disgust and turns her gaze back to Jace, and pulls him down into a deep sloppy kiss making me want to gag. "Who is this Jace?" the girl says as she breaks their kiss, not even bothering to look at me. "This is Chelsea, she accedentlay ran into me and I helped her." He says quickly and throws me an apologetic glance. Which it feels oddly like I was the one who should have thrown him that since his whatever she was seems so toxic. The girl rolls her eyes, and makes a 'yeah right' face. "Lidia I am telling the truth, jesus why can't you ever believe me." he says in a pissed off voice, okay so I am taking my leave now. I turn awkwardly, not even bothering to say good-bye and took off back to my friends. "Who was that hunk?" Lisa says in a Squealed tone. "His name is Jace, he was helping me since I bumped into him, but his asshat of a girlfriend didn't like that." I say glancing back over to them, our eyes connected once again making my cheeks heat up. "Oh my gosh you so like him." Lisa says watching us. I scoff sitting down at the small white metal table with them. "No I don't, I hardly know him." I say making Alissa perk up. "It's so perfect then, no strings, and you wouldn't have to waist time getting to know some guy you will probably ever see again." I lift my head up looking at her "I said I wanted to have fun, not a one night stand. I'm not like that you guys should know that about me by now." Alissa nods her head. "We know, but come on. You would be having fun, and besides you need to let loose. You said you wanted to do stuff you have never done before." "I meant like going to a bar and drinking or skinny dipping, not having a one night stand with a random guy I know nothing about who also has a girlfriend." Lisa gives me an 'are you kidding me look' "He seems into you also from the way he keeps looking at you." she says smiling and slightly pointing to Jace. I turn my head around to see that she was right. "Well I mean his girlfriend does seem toxic. I would be doing him a favor if she ever found out." I say as all three of the girls smile and nod their heads. I stood up from the table, taking a deep breath and headed over to Jace. "Hey you, again." he says laughing lightly as I made my way up to him. "Hey, wanna get out of here. My room is on the fifth floor." I add so he knows what I was meaning. His eyes grow huge, and he swallows hard before nodding his head. I grab his hand and glace over to my friends who were cheering me on, making me want to laugh at them. "This is the room." I say taking another deep breath and opening the door, metaphorically to my first one night stand, and the literal door to the hotel room.
