"Too bad, Clifford."
I rolled my eyes and scoffed as my mother narrowed her eyes at me. My little sister tugged on my sweater sleeves, giving me her best puppy eyes and let out a soft whimper.
"Karen, I have other things to do.." I moaned.
"Like what? Lick your screen at the sight of Jack Barakat?" She scolded putting her hands on her hips.
"No." I replied though it was partially true.
"Why don't you actually get a life, Michael? Your going to fail in life just like your damn father did."
I grabbed my car keys and grabbed Clara's hand dragging her out the door, slamming it behind her. I opened the door for her forcefully before letting out a low sigh.
"Get in." I ordered climbing into the drivers seat.
Clara quickly got in, brown eyes wide as she buckled her seatbelt. I started the car and quickly sped out of the driveway and down the road.
"Mikey..?" Clara said softly.
"Yes, Clara Bear?" I replied.
"Are you mad at mommy?" She asked.
"A little, well actually a lot." I said.
"A lottle?" She giggled.
"Lottle?" I asked.
"It's like a little, but a lot." She explained.
I opened my mouth to reply but shut it when seeing we had arrived at the dance studio. I got out and waited for Clara before locking the doors and walking into the building.
She rushed away from me and towards her friends. I looked around the building. It had pale walls, except for one that was covered in mirrors, the floors were a light grey contrasting with a dark ballet bar towards the back next to where the stereo was, leaning against the wall with a giant logo and rows of trophies.
"Looking for something, mate?" A deep voice asked.
I jumped, letting out a little squeak before looking at the man behind me. He was taller than me, with blonde hair and blue eyes, and did honestly look like some sort of model.
"N-no." I stuttered out.
He only nodded before walking into one of the changing rooms. Michael sighed when seeing that Clara had gone and he was all alone. He exited the building and sat in his car.
He pulled out his phone and logged onto Wattpad. He then scrolled through his library settling on reading a Jalex fanfic. I read and read before letting out a groan and stretched my long legs. I logged off wattpad and messaged my best friend, Calum.
Hey man, can you meet me at the Irwin Servin' place?
Sure. Be there in 5.
I put my phone away and started the car and began to drive down the road to the milkshake building. I pulled in and sat down at the table in the very back. I pulled out my phone and began to write more on my Phanfiction.
I tipped my head up when hearing the little bell ding. Calum walked in, sitting across from me.
"Hey, finally got out of bed I see?" Calum joked looking at all of the milkshake choices.
I rolled my eyes, "You sound like my mom."
"Ooh, the vicious Mama Clifford strikes again."
