Human hearts are weak, fragile, easy to tamper with. One little tweak and it'll break, and as it breaks, so does the mind. It's an endless loop that's completely unforgiving.
The more you live, the more tiny pushes to hearts are made. The more cracks get made to your heart, the more likely it is to completely shatter.
One could make the point that humans themselves are weak, and in that aspect they're right. Unless humans completely discard the aspect of a heart, they shall always remain weak vessels of blood and flesh.
