Lydia was in danger and it was my fault. It was my father's fault. I could've stopped him, but I didn't.
"Please tell me that you know something." I pleaded.
I had spent the entire night at the hospital before I was awoken by Lydia screaming. She had ran off into the forest, nude, and no one had found her yet.
Sheriff Stilinski merely sighed. He knew how much I cared about her. "I'm sorry, Kaitlin, we haven't found anything yet." Sheriff Stilinski turned, ready to exit the hospital, but I rushed over in front of him.
"Look, I can help. I know her better than anyone else." I said franticly.
"Really?" Sheriff Stilinski asked, "What's her hair color?"
"Strawberry blonde, obviously." I shrug.
"You should get some well deserved sleep, Kaitlin. You've been here all day." Sheriff Stilinski sighed.
"Fine." I said, "But can you drop me off?"
"I'm not sure." Sheriff Stilinski admitted, "I was going to go to the cemetery grounds."
"Why?" I ask curiously.
"There was an incident." Sheriff Stilinski explained, "And I am going to go check it out."
"Sheriff." I call out as he had already made his way towards the exit. "Ask them about Lydia." Sheriff Stilinski nodded, determined to find Lydia.

A gush of wind entered my room as the window was suddenly opened. I sighed annoyed, cursing the wind and it's power before I moved and shut the window. I turned around, coming face to face with an angry Derek Hale. I gulped in fear seeing his eyes glisten with anger.
"You've been ignoring my calls." Derek hissed.
"Not really." I said, "You don't have a phone, so-"
Derek slammed his fist against the wall causing me to flinch and to walk farther away from him. "Where have you been, Kaelin?"
"I don't know. Maybe in the hospital because my psychotic father sent my friend in there?" I snapped.
"I am sorry about that." Derek admitted.
"Of course you are." I nodded vigorously, "You should be."
"I need to turn you." Derek stated.
"I just saw you after a few days and now you want to turn me?" I demand angrily.
"It's the only way that I can be assured that you're protected." Derek said.
"And why's that?" I said, "Why can't you do anything else?"
"Like what?" Derek asks curiously.
"Like stop hurting my friends. They can protect me." I insisted.
"I thought they weren't your friends." Derek said confused.
"They're the best chance I've got to survive whatever messes you get involved in." I stated and Derek glared at me.
"What I did... what happened... it helped me become someone that I wanted to be." Derek informed me.
"You mean, like, an Alpha?" I ask and Derek nodded. "So my dad being in Beacon Hills was just convenient for you?"
"You didn't even know him, Kaelin." Derek frowned.
"And I don't want to know him." I insisted, "He hurt my friend, but that doesn't mean that he's not my father."
